Does anyone have SCH and passed some blood clots are still fine? I'm so paranoid. I passed a big one and I wasnt worried until my husband freaked out.

I have one. I am 9 weeks and it was discovered at 7 weeks on ultrasound. I've never bled though so I'm not much help. I'd just call to make you and your husband feel better.

They are not calling mine an SCH but I have an area of bleeding outside of babies sac. I bled at 5 weeks and again at 10 weeks (now 12+3 and still spotting dark blood every day). I feel more reassured that they have found the cause of bleeding now though x

I have a area of bleed. They haven't called it a sch yet. They said they wouldn't til I was 12weeks. I'm just over 12 weeks now my scan is on Tuesday so I'll know more then. Hope all is ok x

I have an appt with a specialist next Thurs. I'm a little scared b/c I've seen her before with my first pregnancy and she kept saying my baby will die (but I laughed it off) b/c of this and that (long story). Btw, my child is healthy and happy.

Other than her being conservative and scary, she's very skillful and helpful in other ways.

I had a sch with my ds, which was discovered after blood literally poured down my legs after my 12 week scan. I continued to bleed until about 21 weeks on a weekly basis and then the size of my son squashed it. I went on to have him at term. Of course it is terrifying, but I wanted to let you know that things can work out ok. X

Ps, there is a sch thread in here in the gestational complications section, which I found really useful for advice.

Thanks Chase, in worried about late miscarriage/ pre term labour x

I was diagnosed with an SCH after a massive bleed at 12 weeks. I bled continuously for 4 weeks and it was eventually reabsorbed sometime between my 20 week and 29 week scans. I'm now 34 weeks pregnant and all has been okay since. The majority of women that have SCH carry to term, so try not to worry too much!

Thanks for the replies ladies. I feel reassured that this pregnancy will be okay. :)

I wasn't put on bed rest but I was put on pelvic rest and told to take it easy i.e. no strenuous exercise, heavy lifting etc.
