Success stories after chemical/mc, please share & help

Hi All

I hope this is the right place to post this, I am going through a chemical now, betas dropping and I am trying my best to NOT be too upset/crying about this. I am trying to think positive and towards the future............

I would like to know if anyone can share their success stories of healthy pregnancies after a chemical/mc. I think I need to hear them. How soon after the loss did you get your BFP? was it right away?

Please and thank you. FYI I am 4 weeks and my betas went from 235 to 170 after 5 days.......

Take a look in my journal. Mrs Miggins, dreamermama, debzie, mrskg, jessica28, leinzlove and baileybubs (off the top of my head) are all pregnant after a loss. I think they've all posted within the last few pages of my journal and have links to their journals in their siggies x

I had a mmc at 8 weeks in feb, I had had some brown bleeding at 5 weeks so I was scanned at 6, we saw the hb so was super excited, while they were scanning they noted a cyst and they then scanned me to check the cyst 2 weeks later, there was no hb I was still having all my pregnancy symptoms but baby had died very soon after the first scan I had an erpc and after a few weeks recovery time we started trying again, we actually conceived the month we were taking a break and am now coming up for 10 weeks, I had a private scan at 7w2d and baby was measuring to dates and heart beating away, i am still terrified but am trying to think positive!
The TTC after a loss section of this forum helped me so much there are some amazing women on there!

I had a chemical in June it started 2 days after AF was due. My period in July was rather light. I got my really strong BFP on the 13th and Im either 3wks 4days or 4wks. Got everything crossed this one sticks Xx

CONGRATS! I am so excited for you that you got another BFP! this gives me hope. thank you for sharing...........right now im just waiting for my chemical to start? which is soo strange to me? my betas are dropping but I have no bleeding yet - I dont understand

I've got no idea why you haven't started bleeding yet, I had a little bit blood in my discharge the night after my period was due and then the day after it started but was quite light only lasted 2 days, hardly's any cramps or anything.

Your betas might need to drop to zero first

Don't panic too much about not bleeding yet. I did that- I just wanted it to hurry up so I could get on with things. Our bodies our magical and know exactly what they are doing.

How long did it take for your tests to turn to bfn?

Im so glad you can relate and understand how I feel. I just want to move on and I can't!!! I took a preg test tonight and it was positive, there's nothing worse then wanting a bfp, getting one, and knowing that "right now" you need it to be bfn

Hi grace10209,
I had a mmc last November. We attended our 12 week scan only to find there was no heartbeat and baby only measured 8/9 weeks. It took a few days after the scan for bleeding to begin but I was unable to pass everything and ended up having a d&c.
We were told to wait 3 months to try again but as part of our healing process we felt we needed (well I needed) to start trying straight away.
I got a bfp in January but then period arrived about 10 days later - not sure if that is a chemical?
Anyway we kept trying and the following month we got another bfp and I am now 28 weeks pregnant and everything is looking great .
I know how horrible it is to have a pregnancy snatched away from you, and all the doubt you feel about whether it'll ever happen. I am 36 and started to convince myself I was too old and that I'd run out of time and decent eggs!
However the little bean currently kicking away in my belly is proof that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
I hope that you are able to come through this and get pregnant with a sticky baby very soon.

after my first faint positive i took a further 4 tests (FRER) over 4 consecutive days. On day 5 the line was barely there. Day 6 it was negative. A week later i started to bleed.

I dont think my levels were that high to begin with so it happened quite fast.

Hey there. Ttc after loss can be so frustrating. Every time AF comes or you get a bfn, it is so depressing. Don't give up though! You can see from my siggy how things have turned around and feel free to stalk my journal too. Hang in there. Praying you will all get your rainbows soon

I had a mc or a mmc, at 10 weeks not sure which it is categorized since I didnt' start spotting till 10 weeks and the fetus never grew past 5-6 wks. Anyway that was 2 yrs ago and I took it really hard, wasn't sure if I ever wanted to try again. This last cycle we didn't prevent and surprise here I am. Nervous, but determined to believe I am pregnant until proven otherwise. Praying I will be a happy success story =)
