Just had a miscarriage at 6+2. I am so sad and scared I will have repeat miscarriages. This was my first pregnancy. Any success stories after a miscarriage? I also heard that first time pregnancies are more likely to result in a miscarriage. Has anyone else heard of this?

I had 2 early miscarriages before conceiving my rainbow. Just because you have had one doesn't mean your anymore likely to have another. Good luck. I hope you get your rainbow soon.

I am sorry for yr loss. A few friends of mine, who experienced 2 mcs, got pregnant naturally. One lady decided to undergo ivf with PGS NGS, as she suffered from consecutive pregnancy loss. Fewer than 3 pregnancy losses are considered to have been due to chance. So remain positive! Wish you all the best and hope to hear some positive news from you soon x

I lost my first baby at 19 (unplanned but pregnancy none the less)

I then had my daughter, lost my next baby at 7 weeks but conceived my son 8 weeks later.

Some people have multiple losses, some only one and some don't have any. It's awful when you do experience it but try to keep as positive as you can. It may never happen again. xxx

I'm sorry for your loss. I had a m/c then got pregnant with my son four months later—totally normal, healthy pregnancy.

I was so, so scared when I got pregnant again, but in hindsight, each pregnancy is different, so as long as there aren't underlying medical issues, one loss won't predict another. It's so hard to be hopeful at a time like this, but you'll get there soon enough! Can't wait to read about your Rainbow!

Hii ladies..i am new on this forum.but iam very sad cz i had 2 miscarriages at 8 weeks.the first one i had bleeding and miscarried on my way to the hospital.with the second no bleeding at all everything was normal and i was taking baby aspirin daily.we went to the clinic in order to hear our baby's heartbeat for the first time ,but we were shocked when the doctor told us that it stopped.i've done blood tests and all results are normal.ii also had laparoscopy done before a month ago.the doctor found endometriosis and took them away.he told me to start taking baby aspirin before getting pregnant and Ovacure which contains folic acid and some other vitamins.but till now i donno what was the reason.how can i try for the third time and iam very worried ??
Wish you all the best.hope you all conceive and have healthy babies soon.

Snr and Tami - I am so sorry you are going through this. It was literally the toughest trial of my entire life. I went through a missed miscarriage back in February 2016. Walking in for your very first ultrasound and then finding out that your baby's heart was not beating is just so incredibly devastating. Losing your first comes with the question, "Can my body do this or am I just broken?" Don't let that fear crush you completely. For me, it was another 8 long, dark months of waiting and trying and testing and fighting for what I knew I needed. I suffered a second very early loss in September 2016 before finally seeing an RE and being diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism. I conceived our little Charlie our first cycle with the RE, received wonderful care and monitoring, and I am now 19.5 weeks along. I haven't seen baby since 14 weeks, but I check for that strong little heartbeat often with my doppler. Most will conceive again and have healthy babies no problem, but if you're like me it will take a bit more. Just want to let you know that there is always hope if you keep trying and pushing for the care you feel you need. Trust your gut and jump into the darkness. One day, one way or another, you will find the sun breaking on through <3 :hugs:

Thank you for your reply and giving me hope lesondemavie ..and iam happy for you.i pray you have your baby in your arms soon.good luck sweetie😘

Thought id give you some hope.

I have unfortunately had 9 losses. 3 last year which was devastating.
We went to RPL clinic with consultant who did lots of investigations and came up with very little.
Turns out I have low progesterone and thin uterine lining. After this bfp I take progesterone suppositories and baby aspirin. This has got us as far as we are today. I feel very grateful for what is looking like our rainbow :cloud9:
