Hi all :)

I just got a job in a care home and i'm wondering what shoes I should wear? I'm looking to get some comfy ones as i'll be on my feet 8-12 hours a day. They need to be pretty durable and cover my feet. Any suggestions?

Also as cheap as possible lol.

What about hush puppies or Clark's? X

Have a look at hush puppies to. I would say from past experience that spending £50 plus on work shoes in a care job doesn't necessarily mean they last longer. I realised early on in my caring career that my feet were better off in slightly cheaper shoes replaced more frequently.

I don't think a brand is necessary. I have £6 shoes from asda which would fit the bill and are really comfy. I would suggest going round all the shops and trying several pairs on. Just because something says clarks, hush puppies etc doesn't mean it's going to be a good comfy fit. Feet are so individual
