Super TMI - PP AF - what's yours like?

I was wondering - I assume this is normal - what's your PP af like?

I'm currently in my 6th PP af and it's been brutal - I spot for days before [4-5 days] then once it comes on I have awful cramps and it's insanely heavy, like a super tampon AND pad every 1-3hrs for the first 2 days... This time - I have a crazy amount of clots - so sorry for the detail - I remember having them with the PP bleeding, which made sense but then the first few AF cycles after there were less and less - which also made sense... but this time - my goodness

Guess what I'm wondering is - anyone else in/been in this boat? What's yours like - does this seem normal or should I just check in with my gp or ob, just in case?

Mine is much much heavier than it used to be for the first 24 hrs or so and then it's much lighter for 2-3 days. It's less painful which is weird considering how heavy it is. My cycles are also slightly shorter. I guess each pregnancy changes it a little. Hope yours improves soon! Sounds awful!
