Sure Start Maternity Grant Advice Needed

my friends first child doesnt live with her at moment due to personal reasons anyways shes having another and she is unsure if she can get teh sure start maternity grant

not sure if this is right but I've heard if you got it with a previous pregnancy you are no longer entitled to it.

She will get it as in the gorm you have to put the childten who live with you down. If first child lives elsewhere then that child will not be on the form

it will depend on the circumstances surrounding the other child

i took from the op that it was a temporary measure, however if its a more permanent placing of the other child then sure start may be payable

who gets child benefit etc etc for the other child wtm

yes but if she did claim for first baby then she wont get for second there is question on application (did you claim ssmg before)or something like that.
