Sweep and 2cm dilated

lost my mucus plug this morning and happened to be seeing the midwife today, she agreed to give me a sweep (im 40 weeks tomorrow) and she was surprised that i am 2cm dilated, do you think this means it will be anytime now or could i still be here in another 2 weeks time?? x

i think it could be anytime this week, especially if youve had a sweep chances are verryy good !!

Well my experience with this was I was 3cm at 40 weeks and they did 2 sweeps and still ended up being 2 weeks overdue! Then I was induced with the gel twice! He was my 2nd pregnacy. But for your sake I really hope it works and either way you are soo close to holding your baby!
