Sweet smelling (TMI)

Ive noticed that i smell really sweet.....down there I think.

I like to think my personal hygiene is pretty good (shower pretty much daily if the toddler lets me) but there is definitely a urm....aroma.

Infection maybe?

Ive also had increased discharge but have just put it down to normal pregnancy stuff

I smell sweet too. Kind of a funny smell, its not unpleasant. I've treated myself for thrush as I've had some itchiness. Thats cleared up but the smell is still there. I figure this is what pregnant smells like maybe? I have a lot of discharge also and am wearing pantyliners pretty much every day x

Do you get a bit of wetness that feels a bit sticky and think with a sweet smell on your underwear and clear thick wetness when you wipe?
Do you have the sweet smell anywhere else... underarms?

My friend had something similar and was having an increase in discharge and lost her mucus plug the next day but theres other things it could be such as sign of diabetes, amniotic fluid or even a yeast infection...Have you had any change to your diet?
It might not be any of these things and could just be nothing, just another thing that comes with pregnancy!

i think i read somewhere that the fluids around baby are sweet smelling

I thought about a yeast infection but it doesnt smell yeasty. Its a bit of a odd smell tbh lol

i get this too - i think it smells like onions but i have had my urine tested and all is fine - weird

wish i smelt sweet! i just smell of wee!

i dont know about down there smells but i know if someones breath smells of pear drops its meant to signify something that a doctor needs to look at. cant remember what illness thats for though.

Could be fluid? Mine smells like ammonia when it comes out (different to wee, it's like sniffing a cup of bleach ) but it most commonly smells sweet xx

I was about to post the same thing!!! Its not a bad smell.. but when i go to the loo i can smell it.. :S

I thought my waters may have gone a little yesterday because after i had wee'd the water kept coming if you get me.. but it wasnt much.. since then i have had the same smell.. :S
