So LO is 1 in less than a week, and I want to start giving her cows milk instead of formula. Is there anything in particular I should know about doing this? I gave her one bottle of cows milk today and it went down the same as a formula bottle, so I don't think I'll have problems getting her to take it, but should I make the switch gradually or can I do it over a few days?

It's better if you switch gradually, as suddenly giving a large amount of cows milk might cause diarrhoea.

We started with 1oz of cows milk in each bottle of formula, and increased it by 1oz each day, until we were fully switched.

We changed about 10.5 months i think it was, slightly early but she was practically refusing the formula.
From when she started refusing i started doing bottles half and half (half cows milk and half formula) until the tin ran out and carried on with cows milk and we didnt have a problem!

She definately preferred the cows milk :haha: (and still has 2 night time bottles :dohh:)

If she's ok with it, you dont need to mix it with formula hun, just switch one bottle, wait a week then switch another one, until she's on cow milk only. Some ladies here switched immediately when they ran out of formula with no problems. xx
