Are there any of you who have been started on these two medications? If so, I'd love to hear about your experiences!
Hello Ladies! My DH and I have been TTC for 2 years with no luck. I recently started seeing an OB/GYN who specializes in Reproductive Endocrinology. I had blood work, ultrasounds, and an HSG. Everything was okay EXCEPT, my TSH level was on the high side of normal... 3.66 then 3.85. He wanted to start me on Synthroid to try to get my TSH levels under 2.5. I started doing lots or research and found that your thyroid has a big affect on your fertility... Interesting. I just started the medication 10 days ago. I am hoping that when I go back in 6 weeks my TSH levels will be at 2 or under.
He also wants me to start Clomid 50mg. I will be taking my 5th pill tonight, CD7. Fortunately, I have been feeling fine with the Clomid. No noticeable side effects.
