I forgot to ask my health visitor yet again yesteday! What age is it ok to take baby swimming - do they have to have had all their injections? thanks!

I was told they can go swimming from birth, and that they don't have to have all their injections, although this might not be 'official guidelines' just something my HV said

No they don't have to have all of their jabs so can go from any age.

I think those guidelines relates back to years ago when polio was still around x

You dont need to wait. It used to be advised untill after the 12 week vaccine as it used to contain "live" polio. I think all 8 and 12 week vaccines now contain deactivated polio.

We started at 9 weeks after "practice" in the bath.

Bare feet.co.uk do good body warmer wraps for babies-keeps my LO nice and toasty in the water:flower:
