DD is BF and since 12 months has fed in the morning and before bed, plus had a cup of cows milk over the course of the afternoon. Now here it is. For the last two nights DD has refused her BF before bed, but she wont drink more than a sip or two of cows milk either, so she goes to bed thirsty and is missing some of the milk from her diet. I have taken to waking her when I go to bed because she'll BF when she's sleepy, and she goes straight back off. Does this sound like a nursing strike to you? I will keep offering her a BF, but at the mo she just bites me (which she's never done before) and then cries and pulls away when I try again. This is only at bedtime though - she'll feed in the morning, but maybe that is because she is particularly hungry.

Do you think this is a nursing strike even though she's only refusing one feed? How long did your LOs nursing strike last? Any tips?

Thank you and sorry for the essay :flower:

Sounds like a nursing strike as it's so sudden. Any teeth on the way? I'd keep offering, and see how things are after a week or so.

I can't see any and she's never done it when teething before, but maybe still... She's only got four teeth and the last two only just popped through a couple of weeks ago at the same time so maybe something similar is happening.
