well me and my dh have had a loverly long talk today about me getting pregnant anyway he has told me his worried sick about me getting pregnant ! the reason is i was reaaly ill 3 years ago with acute panreaitise caused by a gould stone going into it i ended uo in intensive care and i nearly died due to this illness i have lots most of my pancreas and now am a diabetic ! so he is really worried about me he said would it be to much for my body to carry a baby what do you ladys think ! we should be starting ivf this year

I would say that the doctors know your medical history and if there was any risk then they would have warned you. I'm sure you will be fine and it sounds like your OH will be on hand with lots of TLC while you are pregnant!

You need to talk to your doctor before taking another step. Diabetics have an increased chance of things going wrong. Your doctor can assess your individual situation and help determine your individual risk. You two will then need to decide if the risk is worth it, though refrain from anger toward your husband if he wants to stop because he wants you safe.

i am allso worried about carring a baby when i was pregnant with my first 2 sons that was 20 and 17 years ago i was healthy with no complications but no i have some we have been thinking about using a suracy with my eggs his sperm but where do you start with that !
