When can you start giving tap water as a drink without boiling and cooling first?

my little one has normal tap water now and again when we are out its just easier to get fresh juice from a shop or nip in a pub just to get some juice or sumthin

I think they can have tap water from 6 months.

I think you are fine to give tap water now, Paige has had it since 6months , unfortuantly its one of htose things that you get conflicting advice on xx

Lots of conflicting device. I think it also depends on the quality of water you get in your area. We still boil the water as its not too much effort, but considering he drinks his bath water out of his toys, I think tap water would be fine.

just on top of this..my mum was saying that by rebecca's age, she had stopped sterilising my bottles. of course, this was in dark ages..they had to boil bottles n such in water on stove and the bottles were made of glass! lol
I say dark ages..I'm only 33..maybe my mum wasn't well off! haha
But I have started reducing the amount of time I ding the bottles for in microwave steriliser..figure that the amount of carpet she sucks and bath water etc...oh and cat tails she grabs...must be worse for her..as long as they get good scrubbing first!

Im going to give tap water to courtney from 6 months... have you ever tasted cooled boiled water... ITS GROSS!!! And I was told 6 months is fine!!

I would say no to tap water with formula hun just cos when the water is not hot the powder doesnt mix very well!!
