Tarot Card Reading

With it being bank hol yesterday we went down to our local as they were having a 'fun day' - BBQ, Bouncy castle and Tarot card Readers.
I thought Id give it a go as I love stuff like that, but always take it with a pinch of salt!
Anyway, the first question she asked me was if I had children - non of my own I told her. She said it must be my OH that has two children and this is where the problem is. She couldnt understand what the issue was but it was to do with kids and that I felt very down about it and very emotional. She could see I felt torn as if I didnt know what to do, but I must not give up.
She said I have no need to feel this way as it will work out and my wishes/dreams come true.
She then said there was a link with Hospitals and asked me if I understood this.

My OH has children with his ex and had the snip, he has had it reversed and although its not impossible for us to conceive, it does look as though we will need help and ICSI has been brought up by our doctor.
I have felt as though everything is against us and do find it difficult that he already has children and took such drastic actions to stop him having anymore.
I know not every one believes in psychics or mediums and it can be what you make it, but it has made me feel a bit better and given me some hope!!!

I have a big interest in this kind of stuff and went to see a medium a few months back. It was an audience thing and she came straight to me and my husband and asked if we were trying for a family - she told me a few bits and pieces that fitted and made sense and told me I would be pregnant by July/August - well we are now 1st Sept and I am not pregnant! We have since found out that my Husband has poor motility and we start IVF soon. I saw this medium again at the beginning of August and she told me exactly the same thing but said i would be pregnant by Oct so I kind of take it to mean that she does see me becoming pregnant soon but could not give an accurate time frame. My husband thinks it is a load of rubbish and told me not to think anything about it.

I believe that this reading gave me hope and kept me positive when I could have been very negative. IVF certainly needs lots of positive thinking so even if it is a load of rubbish at least it helps to keep that hope alive and that has to be a good thing.

Thanks Blue12 and Lynseyology, my OH thinks its a load of rubish too but I cant see what harm it can do! You have to be realistic and remember that life is what you make it but I like to think that there is some truth in what she has told me.
I saw a clarvoyant not that long ago and I didnt really agree with what she told me, but I find it all so interesting!!!!
Sometimes we all need a bit of hope to hold on to , and im happy with that!

Back in April I had a card reading done and I did not tell her anything or give her any info at all. She was pretty good I must say. At this stage I had not been to the Gynae Dr, I had started TCM for about a month, thats all. She said I had Gynae problems and may need some help with it. She said there will be lots of tears and she can see I will be pregnant within 12 months. She said she also see's twins. I thought this was all very interesting since I NEVER indicated anything...I just sat there and let her do the talking....I didn't even agree or disagree with anything throughout the whole thing. So we will see what comes of it. It is now only 5 months since then....grrrr. Looks like I have more pain and tears to go if this is true at all.

Well good luck lioness168, what stage are you at with the gynae?
Its strange how she would say something like that as she wouldnt know!

Hi Obe, I am on my third round of Clomid since the laparoscopy in May. With this round we had a trigger shot on CD11 and its now CD28 (16 dpo) and no af yet. I'm hesitant to test as the heartache of another bfp hurts too much. If this cycle doesn't work, we are onto IVF. So fingers crossed its a BFP this month.......
It certainly was strange what she was telling me as I gave nothing away... not even a nod or a smile or a grunt.

Im seeing the FS A WEEK TOMORROW!!! So im hoping to get things moving.

I tested this morning as I am 17dpo and I got a BFN. I guess all I can do now is wait until af arrives or test in about a weeks time. FX.
Good luck with your FS appointment, let us know how you go. How long have you been ttc for? I think a BFP before xmas would be great!

I contacted a baby psychic (Cheri) back in February just for fun to see what she would say, I was sick of waiting and wanted to have an answer, even if it wasn't real. She wrote back at the beginning of March and said I would get pregnant with a girl in April. 2 days later I found out that we were going to do an ivf cycle in April. I got my bfp just as she described and wrote to her to let her know she was right. She responded congratulating me, but said she had to change the premonition and that it was twins. It freaked me out because me and dh only wanted 1 baby at first. We went for our 1st u/s and there was only 1 baby, so I was relieved and just wrote off what the psychic said. When I went for the 2nd u/s our baby had died shortly after the first u/s, despite looking great on the first u/s. I wrote back to the psychic letting her know of the m/c and she responded saying that my next ivf cycle would work and would be b/g twins. I did another ivf cycle in August and just got a bfp 2 weeks ago. I won't know if it is 1 or 2 babies for another week and a half but I must say my betas are very high (double to triple my first pregnancy and I didn't have low betas with pregnancy #1).
Also the chromosome testing from the d&c on baby #1 came back as 46xx so it was a girl just like the psychic said. All that can think of is that I was suppose to have twins and when the 1st u/s showed only 1 baby I had to lose that pregnancy inorder for the twins to come through.
Take from this what you like, but I believe in this women 100% now and have no doubt that she has a special gift.

Wow Honeycat! It sounds like you have had a rough time, but congtats you got your BFP!!!! How did you hear about her? can you PM me her details if you dont mind?
Lioness - we have been TTC for about 16 months now. Im pretty sure we will end up having ICSI so im really hoping we can start before the end of the year.
I will let you know how we get on with the FS
