Taste questions!

My baby is breastfed and had bloody diapers when given 2 oz of regular formula a few weeks ago. However, I am heading to England and am going to be away from her for various parties/weddings/receptions and am very worried that I won't have enough pumped bottles. She will not touch Nutrimigen powder. I have a sample of Alimentum powder and some ready to feed Alimentum that I am going to try next. Is that any tastier than Nutrimigen? If that doesn't work I have heard Elecare tastes like cake batter! Can I order that online for her without a prescription and do babies like it better? I don't mind paying for it if she will drink it just during my vacation!

not to much help sorry but i have heard the alimentum does taste better. My pediatrition put my ds on the nutramigen for the same reason when i switched from breastmilk to formula. But i thought that it was a bit fast to try to tell that he had a milk allergy as i drink plenty of milk products and i new that he got milk from my milk. Did you just try one type of formula as there is different ones. I first put my ds on the regular yellow enfamil lipil that is the normal one i think. Thats the one that made him have blood in his poop. And spitting up alot. Tried that nutramigen and he wouldnt eat it. Then i tried enfamil gentlease and all the sypmtoms stopped. idk maybe try that one and see how your lo does with it. xx
