tax credits paid twice?

I was paid my normal child tax credits on Wednesday same day I normally get it, checked my account today and iv been paid child tax credits again twice in same week, had anyone else or know why? thanks

have you renewed ?? or if you recieve benefits you automatically renew without having to fill out forms xx i recieved twice last week as i renewed due to sons dla changing xx hth

I received an extra payment last week. When I phoned up I was told it was an adjustment as the CTC is going up this year, some of the extra is added onto the monthly payments but the rest is given as an additional payment.
