Tax credits question.

Hey ladies, just a quick question. Hoping someone can answer!

My mum got a letter off tax credits stating she'd get £400 on the 16th of June (Saturday) it never went in, mum's not really bothered about it just confused! Any idea why this could be? Do they make payments on a Saturday?

Honestly I've no idea... But as far as I'm aware if they don't pay on weekends, they do it the day before usually. I.E a bank holiday (as i get mine on a monday) Ill get it on the friday. x

I've never had any tax credits due on a Saturday but if it's a bank holiday it goes in the working day before. Maybe check on Monday and if not in give them a phone xx
