Tax credits renewal

Yeah this year there is press one if you've got a brown envelope press two for white, type message. I've never come across that before though.

I got a white envelope - did mine over the phone today as I called up to ask a question that I couldn't find the answer to (and to change my bank details for the 3rd time of asking! lol). She said I could do it there and then no problem. No idea about the colour of the envelope being crucial as I went through the 'any other problems' section lol.

Personally I find it farcical that the HMRC don't know how much you're earning! But hey, I'm sure they have their reasons.
