Tax credits

Long story short, my post is buggered up and I don't always get letters etc...it's being reported etc,

BUT

Tax credits stopped my claim. I rang them, and it's restarted. Does anyone know the time frame to getting payments, my car is in the garage with a £150 bill left on it (payed £150 today) and I NEED it...can't get to the shops to do a shop and can't rely on public transport, as a taxi would be about £10 and the bus stops 10 minutes away, and only goes once an hour...Anyway, would they also pay me the missed payment from Monday (we get it weekly) or will they just wait til Monday and pay me one week? Or pay me Monday for both weeks? Anyone? I should have asked really, but I was just thinking about my phone bill!

I was told 8 to 12 wks ..they stopped mine too

WHATT? I NEED it!! That's really really stupid, when they just stopped it...GRR! Hopefully that's an oversight, and they're just trying to cover their backs in case it takes longer than expected!

Its due to the time of year ..I didnt get paid last week no notice given

That's why I rang them...no pay in on Monday...

Did they say why they stopped it? If it isn't because of a change of circumstances that you've reported then it won't take long to restart. The renewals are all over so chances are it should be a quick process for you. You will get your missed payment back, if you don't ring them and ask why and I'm sure they will pay it you. xx
