Well its officially 101 days today without a period. That really stinks.

It's so funny how periods are so annoying when you have them but then when you don't get them you want them so bad. Funny how that works!

I think that I will give my doctor a call in a couple of weeks and just make her take me in. I know that she originally said at the end of May that if I don't get my period in 3 or 4 mths then to come back but I can't wait anymore. I haven't had a period since April 1st/09 and my only one this year isn't that clear enough that there is an issue?

Is is really true that you can still get pregnant even though you don't have a period? Also, if I were to get the ovulation kit how would I know when to start if I haven't gotten a period in so long?

hi sunshine, really can answer that im afraid, im now cd140 odd, by the time i go to my endo appt next week i will be over 150 days.... if they cant help me or wont help me, il be heading straight back to my doc!... xx

hey sunshine, yes you can get pregnant without having a period. Look at some others on here, they waited nearly and over 100 days and then got pregnant. The body either eventually ovulates and then you either get your period or a bfp. Or you just don't ovulate and get your period. So yes you still have a chance to get pregnant this cycle.

I would suggest buying opks in bulk. I am buy them 50 at a time, as they're cheaper and I know I am going to need a lot. Buying the chemist ones are good but it becomes v expensive. I would suggest trying the opk every day after they arrive. Also I would recommend temping in conjunction, I find temping very useful to help confirm ovulation or anovulation. Last month I ovulated cd99 so you still have a chance of ovulating!!!

well i didn't take my temp yesterday and given the rises am angry I didn't take it, as it would have been nice to see if it went up or down. Poop oh well, the next few days should give me a clue. - hehe look how optimistic I'm being that it might be a 30 day cycle!!

hey drakey clear cm -get some just in case,you never know whats happening in there.i know how frustrated you must feel,ive been there,got the t shirt,just under 12 months was my record without ,lets hope you get some answers next week.
well ive been busy working this weekend and ive finally dragged myself out of this rut ive been in,this last week or so ive felt awful my hormones seemed to have gone haywire,crying for nowt etc,but im feeling much better today,just waiting for to arrive so i can start clomid.

My temp dipped low this morning and got some cm but my opk was negative yesterday so will see whats tonights does. Watch me ovulate on time this cycle and so my bloods come back fine !

well 2 more sleeps till my endo appt, i will literally be praying they do something, if not i will see myself bursting in tears at hospital, and if that doesnt show how emotionallly draining it all is, then i dont know wht will! lol... 10 mins till hometime! lol yay, today been a bit of a long day!

Thank you drakey and chele for your responses. It always makes me feel good knowing that I'm not alone.

I took pregnancy test this morning cause I "thought" that I was having symptoms for the last little while but sure enough it was a big fat again!! I feel that sometimes I just have to laugh it off and try to not let it get to me. I just can't stand wasting money on tests and then they come out all the time. Poop on that

Oh well, hopefully either I get that positive results soon or the shows up.

just sliced all down my thumb on a tuna can. Who says eating healthy is good for you. OW! Still it's got me out the washing up, it stings too much in water. Can't bend my thumb right now.

Well I too had some cm today, not sure what type, but the opk was still negative, so my drop in temp doesn't appear to be anything

drakey - crying might be good - relieve some tension and show them how much this is a pain in the arse and not getting you anywhere. Sometimes I worr so much that to the doctors and specialists, we're just a number. They have certain procedures which don't allow for unique cases in each person. And unique feelings too.

sunshine - sometimes you've just gotta take that test just to put your mind at rest. I think I've only done about 4 or 5 hpts since trying and am not going to do any now for a long time

Hi Girlies,

Im starting to loose the will all over again!!

It looks like Im cd23 today, and still no sign of Ovulation. Having a right downer today, so sorry in advance for the rant!

This is my 4 cycle since comming off bcp in September, and my cycles have been stupidly long since, and have also been diagnosed with pcos!

So I thought Id take AC this cycle but still no sign of anything. Does anyone else have pcos and tried ac? did it make a difference to your cycle lengths??

nnn, Twiggy was on AC and ovulated late and then got her bfp

I took AC last cycle and swear it's what made me ovulate on cd100! I am not taking it this month until my cd 28 are done next week then I'll be back popping them. Fret not, it'll happen soon

Drakey - oooooo so exciting for tomorrow! Be more optimistic though and hopefully they'll give you some right answers and help you more

Thanks girlies, I think it's been one of those weeks.

Good luck drakey with your appointment tomorrow. Lets hope it's positive for you. Im waiting for an appointment too. Had a letter from hospital to ask if I was available over the next 10 weeks, for them to send an appointment. So am hoping to get one before September! I was told by my docs, that they would investigate further (Ive already had a scan confirm I have PCOS) so hoping they will just give me Clomid. My Husband is supposed to have taken a sample in too, but he hasnt got round to it yet. Not sure if they will need it or not though, as I have had a but it ended in early miscarriage / chemical?

Ive wondered about Buying Clomid online, but knowing my luck, they would be dudd ones. Know the feeling though, just wish something would work!!!

Keep us up to date with your appointment tomorrow though! What are they supposed to be doing for you? Have you already had an appointment?

Hi ladies can i join you guys here???? CD 75 for me now I thought my periods were coming down in length went from 50 to 48...then 75 and still counting!!!!! I had quite a bit of ewcm last week so we around then just in case but i'm not feeling confident at all!!!

went to gyno but they were usless coz im 19 they cnt treat me n e way till im 23?? nhs rules?? and told me to lose weight in the mean time and didnt even bother to run n e tests.. this endo appt is to do with hormones and stuff so im hoping of a better outcome tomorro, we will see xxxxxx

welcome fluffy. I see you have a lickle one already. Did you have problems conceiving before or long cycles? Are you doing opks or temping ?

drakey - not sure about clomid online as I was wondering about the follicle tracking side. Also wouldn't know what dose to take. I don't think it's a good idea unless you get further down the line and the FS won't prescribe it for some reason. So ask me again in a year!!!

nnn - the finger is killing me. It's all down the side and round the top and it's so deep it's still weeping and pink in side with black blood on the out!! Haha I am such a pansy I had a with one hand this morning~!!
