Elliot's been weezy and coughing on and off for about two weeks now, we took him to a doctor when it first started. He told us it wasn't on his chest, and that as hes teething and dribbling loads, theres like a puddle of this dribble sitting in his throat which is causing the weezy sound and hes trying to cough it up?

it's come back again, and seems worse so i took him to the doctors again...nothing on his chest, normal and nothing to worry about?

it's stopping him sleeping properly, he coughs when i lie him down so we put his cot mattress at an angle.

anyone else had this going on during teething? it doesn't seem right to me...but i'm a 1st time mom so don't really know.

Not had it but hope it clears. I know jacob was a nightmare at nights until his teeth cut through now there both half way out he is fine :) XxX

Hey, we are experiencing the exact same thing with our baby girl at the moment, she has a runny nose and really coughs at night. Took her to the doctors and nothing on her chest, they said it could take weeks to clear, could be teething but no sign yet probably a cold.

It keeps the other half and I up but doesn't seem to wake her, scares me as she sounds like she is fighting for breath sometimes. I keep having to get up to check. Hopefully it will sort itself soon as it's been nearly two weeks.

im having exactly the same with my 3 month old son.

He seems to choke on it, and struggles to swallow as if it goes down the wrong hole. It really worried me the first time. its as if he struggles to breathe when it happens.

Im off to the doc about it tomorrow. will let you know what he says.

Were experiencing the same thing, I've mentioned in a couple of threads that opening the window slightly has helped.
