Teething nightmare!

I am a nanny of a 14mo old little boy. He's usually so good and happy, but since he started the second round of teething he's fussy and doesn't sleep or eat well. His parents and I have been trying several different things to get him to eat and nothing helps. Baby Orajel works sometimes, but not always.

Is there anything else I can tell them about to try?
