I really want one but theres been a few odd reports of it breaking/blowing up

I want one too, but I remember a few years ago they were on Watchdog because they would burst into flames, and I refuse to buy one now, they terrify me!

Thats exactly what put me straight off, im eyeing the Airfry by Phillips now which seems to come with a 2 year guarantee - most people need to take out an extended warranty with the Tefal one

I have a Philips air fryer, it takes less time & it's much better with frozen food. You can't fry chicken nuggets or fish fingers properly using the Tefal (my aunt has it).

I had it 1.5 yrs back, and I'm happy with it. But I scratched the coating as I wasn't cleaning it right :dohh:

Yes we have one had it for about two years now and havnt had a problem with it, I love ours x

MIL has one and can't figure out how to use it, she makes "crispy mashed potatoes" every time she tries to make chips

We have one, never had any problems! Gives the best chips ever!

We have one, use it every time for chips, easy to use, healthier, no problems, had it two years now, bought it when I had morning sickness and was craving chips asks doesn't smell.

My mum has one and loves it. They're £80 plus VAT in Makro just now xx

I've been eyeing this up, but I'm still not sure.. I've heard good and bad things!

My parents have had one for a few years now, and have never had any problems with it - and yes, it makes great chips!

We've had one for ages and no problems :)

i love the idea of it, just don't understand why they are so bloody expensive?!

We had one but tbh the novelty quickly wore off. It's ok for sausages, chips take ages! Our lid catch broke and the paddle lost its coating so everything stuck.

I don't have one, but my big sister does! And she loves it, fabulous chips & roasties!! :)

I bought thre Airfryer for £89 at currys. The tefal reviews scared me

I love ours had it years, I don't really like chips if I'm honest but I love them done in there. The frozen curly fries done in there are way better than in the oven they're crispy rather than soggy :)
