I'm trying to find the right time to tell my mother.. haven't decided on what i'm doing yet, but i still need to tell her! Any ideas? x

if ur close to ur mum then jst say u really need to talk to her bout sumin important!
ul need to tell her asap hun the sooner the better the longer u leave it the harderit will be to tell her!

if ur worried then see if a sis (if u have an old 1) or a frend can sit in with u when u do for moral support!
good luck xxx

Thanks! We are quite close..but i'm too scared to tell her!
I've been waiting for my dad to go to bed, cos i dont want him around! My auntie knows, im thinking of asking her to phone my mam 2nite + tell her.. not sure if thats a good idea though? i really think i should tell her myself, but im going to keep putting it off! x

I waited 7 weeks to tell my mother. I definitely don't recommend it! After the shock she calmed down and she's such a support to me now.

Putting it off only makes it worse x

I told my mum straight away and after the inital shock she was actually really happy:cloud9:

Dont let her be the last to know, i told my mum about a week after i found out and she appreiciated that a lot more.

Hugs

I know its scary hun but after you tell her you will feel 100 times better like a big weight has been lifted from your shoulders .

Don't have your aunt tell her, she'll probably find you're trying to be mature by telling her yourself.

Id recommend telling her as soon as possible, my mum wasnt to happy at first but she came round to the idea and has been a big support

Tell your mom as soon as possible, it's scary, but it feels great to get rid of that stress & have it "out in the open".. I waited until I was 10 weeks to tell my parents.

I told my mom one night when we were home alone together.. things were rough with me and my dad for a bit, but my mom has been fantastic all along & everything is going well for us, they're helping me soo much! Even if they weren't going to help me out, I think it's better to know what sort of support you can expect so that you can get on with planning/saving/buying/appointments etc.

I drove several hours just to be able to tell my mom in person and as soon as I saw both of my parents I ust ripped off the band aid
I immidietely blurted it out... it may not have ended well bit I felt such a big relieve, it was a huge weight of my shoulders.

Thanks everyone! I actually told her last night, felt much better. Although she told my dad tonight + they don't want me to keep it as i'm no longer with my boyfriend. I know they're trying to do whats best for me, but i'm hating the thought of having an abortion, i've never wanted to do that. But i don't seem to have a choice :\ i don't want to upset my mam by keeping it.. i feel like such a horrible person :( x

oh sweetie well done for telling you mum..

give it a lil time make sure she knows how you feel...

NOONE can make you feel you have to have an abortion.. just like deciding to have a child is an important descion aborting a child is just as big...

xxxx
