My other halfs mother describes me as "blunt and shameless" (because I am open about my mental health issues and the fact that before my pregnancy I was on medication, why shouldn't I be? It's nothing to be ashamed of.) She just looks down on me in general. My other half is going to tell her and would rather I wasn't there, I'm wondering why? He seems a little worried about it, what can I do to support him? I can't physically be there to support him so what should I do?

If that is her opinion then maybe he is worried about her reaction in case it upsets you? I would ask him if he's going to be ok telling her on his own & if he needs any help preparing what to say. Good luck.
