Temping for the first time help :(

Hi all I think I'm completing messing up on this somehow I've started temping this month for the first time in 6 months of ttc our first and it's starting to get to me a bit. I started temping so I could try figure out if I'm even ov, the thing I'm having trouble with is fertility friend is already saying I ov 4 days ago and I can't have. I have been having 33 day cycles last few month and I'm only on cd16. When I entered my temp this morn and updated cm as seeing some ewcm it suddenly changed to you ov 4 days ago I really don't understand any help is gladly received thank you x

Hey Dizzy,

Don't get frustrated. Just keep temping at FF will update your O date. It must have detected a temp rise, but when you actually O and have a more significant rise, it will shift the O date to then. When I first started, it had me ovulating on CD12 or so, but then I kept at it and saw a greater temp rise later in my cycle and it shifted O to CD22. Hope that helps and good luck!

Also, FF waits for you to have a higher temp for 3 days in a row before it tells you that you ovulated. I had to have one of the girls here explain it to me too, since I just finished my first cycle temping.
