Hi and welcome! This is for all the women who are temping. Whether you want to discuss charts or just talk about temp related issues or just talk in general! This is for you.

I might need help. I am going to try and start temping this month. I've had a BBT thermometer for a month but haven't actually tried temping yet. I have issues with waking up to my alarm, so I won't be able to take the temp before moving. I'll have to just do it and hope for the best.

I am so confused!!! I started charting my tmp last Monday. From Monday to fri it was 96.6. Then Sat 95.6 ..then this sunday morning it was 90.6! How come it went so low? Is this normal?

2bmommy-Are you temping around the same time and how are you taking the temp. When my AF ended my temp went from 97.3 to 96.4 and then increased back up.

hi!
I've started charting my BBT in January.
I am feeling tired doing this everyday to be honest. There was even some time that I dreamnt about my temperature. It's crazy!

:(

HI all, have been temping a few months as well. I don't mind it and have found it very useful - it has confirmed that i ov and that my luteal phase is long enough.

2bmomma - what thermometer r u using? it's important to have a bbt one as its more accurate. also make sure you take it in same place everyday - i take mine under the right side of my tongue every morning. i don't mind it - at weekends the time might be a bit different but i haven't noticed its made too much difference. my charts still very readable.

GL to all XXX

I need some advice. I have only been temping for less than 2 weeks but the last few days my temp has just gone up and down. I have watery cm and my cervix is in the same position but open a little, so I think I am getting ready to ovulate. Do you think maybe there is a problem with my thermometer? I bought the Walgreens brand BBT. (Disregard the temps from last weekend, I woke up really late so they were high). Ooh, also, do you guys use a conversion and change the temps (from days you take them at a different time) and chart the converted temps? Or do you just leave the original ones there and disregard them? I changed them to the converted temps originally but I was afraid it would be inaccurate.

Hi all :flower:

It's my first cycle TCC and I started charting about a week ago as couldn't wait until next cycle. So basically I can see the end of my cycle, my temp staying at and around 37c-37.c at the moment.

Is this a 'normal' temp for the TWW?

The Walgreen's brand is I think the one that there's threads on the main TTC board about it being broken. I'd check if I was you.

2bmommy, do you think you breath through your mouth when you sleep? That can lower your temp. 90.6 is way outside the normal range, which I think is more like high 95s to low 98s. If you keep having off temps you may want to try temping vaginally next cycle. Your temps are higher and more accurate when you temp vaginally, but you can't switch mid-cycle since they're higher.

Thanks! I just ordered the BD BBT thermometer, it should be here by Wednesday. I think maybe the temp recall is not working on the one I have now. Sometimes I have to use the recall to enter my temp if I am not awake enough to enter it when I take my temp, I think that's the problem.
