tescos have ripped me off help

we had a tesco delivery ordered 31st of auguat delivered the 1st when it arrived they had only sent one thing i wanted and the bill came to 160 pund more than the guide price

i made the driver wait and rang tesco online who told me to refuse delivery and send it back anmx they would refund so this is what i did

they said 5 working days ive still not recived the 560 pounds back and they saying they dont kniw why they havent refunded it its not showing the driver brought it back im waiting as they said theyll ring back but what can in do??

WOW what a cockup that is :shock: how did they manage to charge you £560 for 1 thing :wacko:
 
they sent substitutes for everything but one thing in my order x
 
urgh, thats why i wont do home delivery :(
 
Sounds fishy to me. Are you sure someone hasnt scammed it so that they get free shopping and you get a bill?

I woul dbe phoning them up EVERY day and I would also speak to the CAB and tell Tesco that if it is not refunded ASAP you will be speaking to a solicitor. It is not your fault the driver forgot to mark that the delivery came back - good job you spoke to them on the phone!

They do seem to make some Houra mistakes though! One time I bought £96 of shopping and a week after it arrived they refunded me the cash! haha.

Oh wait................what if that is what has happened to you?? They have refunded someone else by accident??
 
yeah id phone them again and again

although they may have refunded someone else

or the driver fancied the shopping for himself :p or maybe he got confused and gave the shopping to another customer who didnt realise that wasnt what they ordered?

Id be ringing every day, twice a day, and id want managers and supervisors only...
 
im going to ring again i dont think he could have gave it some one else it was a full van of shopping and it was all 24 packs of beer so it would be a big deliver to not realise they had back

Id threaten them with trading standards hun, in fact report them to trading standards...also tell them you have a national newspaper on standby to sell your story to if you have not recieved you money within 5 working days!! x
 
We got our shopping deliverd on fri morning, and my OH ordered 2 packs of stella cans and they brought him bottles, but he didn't want them, so the driver took them and said the money would be in his account on sat, it's now mon and it's still not in, we're gonna leave it a few more days and see if it does get put back.
 
yeh well after lots of complaints theyve refunded the money said it will take 4 to 5 days so we ll see if its back if not ill have to ring again im out of using tescos now x
