tested again

got 1 bfp and 2 bfns - the BFP was a bit darker than last time though....and one of the BFNs was done with the same wee sample...

am I doing them wrong or summit? 3 seconds in wee, then lay flat then read after 5 mins but before 10....

i would go and buy some more tests (maybe a tiny bit more expensive) and test again in the morning, or later on if you can hold all day

Clear blue are good i used the one with just the lines not the digital and you can use it up to 4 days before a missed period.

It does seem positive Mynxie. If you read the result in the time specified and a line comes up that would mean that it is reading hcg level over a certain level. This would not come up if you were not pregnant. Possibly the other two tests were damaged in some way or you did not soak them in enough urine.

I got 2 different results from the same sample

anyway, tested last night with a clear blue digital and it was a BFN

it is rare to get a fake positive. Almost unheard of.
BFNs in contrast are often possible if it's not been that long.

So if you got one BFP I'd be getting myself off to the docs pronto and asking for a blood test!!

I'm around day 50, summit like day 48 and have irregular cycles, but tbh I'm more inclined to trust a CBD than a dipstick one, it's only the dipsticks that have given me BFPs (and only 2 out of about 8, the BFNs were after the 1st BFP) the other brands all gave BFNs, which is why I think they were 2 dud tests.

Hi. Yes it does sound very promisin but i would buy another test to find out for sure. I recomend that you buy a clear blue digital test as it gives you the results in words rather than in lines. They are more than 99% accurate and can detect very tiny amounts of the pregnancy hormone as early as four days before your missed period. Good luck.
