Hi everyone this is my first post as i am new to this forum. I would like to start off by saying that i am a very proud father-to-be of our first baby, we're having a girl and we're elated and cannot wait, 13th November!!! Not long now :baby:

I've been reading up on all my fiances pregnancy magazines and noticed theres a baby show this month at Earls Court in London which is only a stones throw from us, being our first baby i thought it would be a nice suprise for us to go but she'll be 37 weeks pregnant, i expect it to be a fairly long day but would this be too much for her?

Also money is a little tight at the moment as i've forked out over £700 on our SilverCross Surf which is also another suprise for her :winkwink: Does anybody know of discount codes i could use to save a little on the tickets for us, i know it wouldnt be much but every little helps.

Thanks very much for reading my post, father-to-be Lee :flower:

Hi

Welcome to the forum, I just wanted to say I went to the baby show before Rhys came and it was so worth it.

p.S my partner is mad on Spurs too, I have been told Rhys is gonna play for them lol

theirs a discount code on the natural parenting section. Don't know if its still working though.

This is the link https://www.babyandbump.com/natural-parenting/403658-baby-show-22-october-london.html

Also you should have a look in the 3rd tri section

Dont know about discount codes

But the baby show is very good, U can snap up alot of cute bargains and alot of stuff u wouldn't see in the shops.. There is loads of seating areas, very comfy for ur wife to sit down if she needs to take a minute. U can get ur self alot of freebies too. When I went tickets were about 13 pound online..was a great day

Thank you so much! The code still works :D  :happydance:

She will love it, I went when I was about 30 weeks - and was so glad we did. We are hoping to go to Earls Court too and take baby. Have fun! :)

If your partner is a member of the Tesco Baby and Toddler club there is a leaflet in the latest issue offering discounts, maybe have a snoop around!

I went when I was nearly 39 weeks and was fine :-)

The Earls Court one isn't great for seating, I did have to sit on the floor when me and my mum stopped for something to eat but it was fine.

Also there is a lovely section with Midwives, giving advice and stuff, and they had some lovely comfy seats there if she wants to have a rest.

I would advise get there as early as you can as it gets busier as the day goes on. We left just after lunch as it was starting to get too packed and I was struggling to push my way through to the stalls. But early on was fine and got to see and buy plenty :-)

Hope you have a lovely time x
