oh yeah TT are on offer at the moment at tesco I just bought 5 boxes lol the checkout chick looked at me like I was crazy. I can't help it that my boobs are out of control!!

I liked the Johnsons ones best for comfort and staying in place but I didn't leak very much so I don't know what they were like in the way of absorbing the milk.

I tried the Boots ones first and they were awful! So scratchy!!

Johnsons are lovely, so comfortable and very good absorption (altho when first starting out they still needed a good 2-3 changes a day until my flow settled and then one pair were good for 24 hours).

The reusable ones are good for later on, when you get down to 3-4 feeds a day and don't leak so heavily overnight.

Johnson ad Johnson for me - super soft, absorbant and sit perfectly around the breast..tried the Lansinoh as I liked the idea of them being sooo thin but there always seemed to be so much pad that I had to scrunch it up to fit despite me being a size E. However other friends with a smaller cup size, love them totally. Perhaps it depends on size of breast ??!!!

Thanks for all your great replies, I think im gonna go with the Tommee Tippee ones to start with, they seem to be good for those of us with lots of milk flow!

ahhh i'm terrible.. i'm not even sure why i express with a pump, i'd just need a bottle under them, and it'd soon fill up!!
I've used the johnsons, tomee tippee and lansinoh..
the johnsons one's kept falling out of place..
the lansinoh were probably the best and stayed in place, but tomee tippee weren't bad either lol! but i LOVE the lansinoh cream!!

I use cloth ones. Thick cotton. Way more absorbant.

Have you tried breast shells while breastfeeding? You can even store that milk.

I use TT although I tried a free sample of Lansinoh and found they were good too.

I sometimes try and 'economise' by buying the cheaper shop ones if the TT aren't on offer, and I always regret it. The Asda ones were pretty bad but I find most shops own ones are disappointing (I do leak a lot too though).

I used breastshells a lot with Poppy as I was giving her the odd EBM bottle, and I collected loads of milk that way. Never tried Lilypadz but have heard good things about them.

Off to Tesco soon to stock up on the TT ones

Lilypadz are great. Re-usable work out cheaper than disposables. Also my sis uses them like nipple covers-lol.

yupp was laniosh for me too. we tried a few i found johnsons too small and tried sainsburys own and they were just horrible 8( we discovered reusable ones later on i lanowool ones are by far my favourite. They are a tad expensive but when you think about how much you spend on boxes they're not too bad.

I tried lilipadz but thought they were useless, especially as they just couldn't cope with it when they were leaking loads, boobs got engorged and then the pads would just come off
