The article is actually suprisingly pro breast feeding (it's actually all just a press release based on Mother and Baby magazine and their recent survey)

it's the readers comments at the bottom that shock me. Luckily i think i live in the most breast feeding friendly place in Britain! I think people frown if you forumula feed where i live!

I breastfed in restaurants, on park benches and even on a display chair in Ikea. I didnt once get a funny look or comment.

I read a few of the comments and decide to leave my own - it probably wont get published, they never have before!!

I find things like that more offensive than breast feeding! I have taken to feeding my child formula milk when I go out in case I 'offend' anyone, and so I have to spend that time in PAIN due to my breasts knowing it is time to feed my child. I have vowed that this will no longer happen, and I will feed in public.
So what if Women do feed their child the way that they have been designed to.........or does someone have proof that the market sold formula milk in the Iron Age? Some young girls show more breast than a BF mother does when feeding!!! "

I do agree tho...........it is more women who are 'disgusted' by it. Probably through jealousy of their OH seeing another boob. But my OH has said, that there is no way a man would find the sight of a woman BFing sexual, and if h does he has issues. lol. So we arent threats!
I seriously just cannot see how it could disgust someone....................nope, just cannot compute that one!
However...........the sight of a Pre teen girl dressed up like she is an adult, showing her self off in a manner that is years older an showing more flesh than I ever would, that does disgust me!!
