Hi!

I'm new here, and maybe I missed Lingo101

What are some basic abbreviations I should know?

TTC: obviously. haha

There so many on my list that people talk about so readily, but I have no idea what they're referring to!

Cd = cycle day (cycle day 1 is first day of period)
Bd = sex!
LP = luteal phase (from day after ovulation to period)

There is a section on the main forum page with all the abbreviations!

i had to google some of it when i first started looking @ forums an things myself cus i was so lost.
ds- darling son
dd- darling daughter
dh- husband
df- fiance
bb or bbs- boobs
bfp- big fat positive
bfn- negative
af- aunt flow
bbt- basal body temp
big o or o'd - (is usually) ovulated or ovulaTion
fx- fingers crossed
dpo- days post (or past) ovulation
cd#- cycle day #
cm- cervical mucus
opk- ovulation prediction kit
hpt- home pregnancy test
poas- pee on a stick
hcg- the hormone hpts pick up on it ur preggers
mc- miscarriage
w or vwcm- watery cm or very watery
dtd- do the deed
cant think of anymore but feel free to ask if you find one i missed. Baby dust
