The losers club

I know Fabby, they're going to take them both once a month and once Hayden is older they'll go for the whole weekend :) she is still taking 2 but only if obviously tired and with Hayden waking her at 6:30 or earlier she is always sleepy by 9am! We just chill out at home, nice dinner some drinks and watch a movie without waiting for Hayden to wake up!
I miss swimming, no chance I could take 2 on my own!
Is Rory completely back to himself now?

Thats nice that they'll take them once a month.

Gonna do some cleaning today and make some pizza rolls to take with me tomorrow and maybe some potato salad too. Might make some bread rolls as well.

When can they sit and watch a film? I can't wait to relive all my favourites! :)

Just made your Ragu Michelle. I was so confident I'd love it I made double! it smells amazing! :happydance: I'm excited about dinner... :) thanks!
Made it to tesco and back, she's sleeping so I'll hang up a wash and have a cuppa. We can have lunch when she wakes then I'll take her swimming. :) yeah, def no chance going with two.
Pizza rolls sound lovely nats, what are they like?

They look good Nats!
The thing about that Ragu is you'll never want plain spag Bol again! Add Parmesan for a finishing touch too. Me and Malc eat the entire pot, fatties!
I've tried sticking on films for T (well me) and she still won't sit still and actually watch it!

Yeah he's fine now apart from obvious teething symptoms still, slobber and whinges. We've just been to Jo jingles. He's asleep now. I'm making spag bol for me and rory tonight cus Dh is away. Not sure what do this afternoon. Soft play maybe. It's chucking it down here. I could easily just chill out for the afternoon when the weather is like this.

Them pizza rolls look gorge!

Im still not convinced it was a tummy bug tbh. He still ate normal apart from one morning when he had his milk first thing then didn't want any breakfast but that's cus he must of filled up on milk. He doesn't have his milk till after his breakfast now for that very reason. Then that lunch time he didn't eat until I put some anbesol on him then he was fine. It was just the Dr who said must be a bug because of the amount of times but we only had one diahorrea poo out of the whole lot!!

I blame teething for everything!
Ohhhh those look yummy! :)
It's still raining but I better just man up and go to the pool, tho I can't decide whether to put my costume on now or when I get there...

Put it on now, less hassle when you get there. I want to go swimming!

I need to take AM swimming more often. Last time OH and I took her was a couple of weeks ago and before that it was a couple of months. And she was definitely more nervous and was crying when we got her dressed. She wouldn't let OH put her down so trying to get her dressed after we had to do it while he was holding her and she wee'd on him twice :haha: luckily he was naked so didn't go on his clothes!!

I don't have any red wine to put in the ragu :( hope it will still taste ok. I only have half a chirzo though. I have another whole one in the fridge so next time I'll go the whole hog and use the whole one and get some wine in spesh for it!

Went to gardening this morning. There's this mum there who has always been a bit 'rough' shall we say. She has a girl the same age as AM and another girl pretty much a year younger. She was letting the older girl out in the garden without watching her, then she wanted to leave the baby in the bouncer, put the older one in the garden, then run round the front to the fence so she could have a fag!! The workers there said she can't do that and she either has to be there or ask someone to be responsible for each of them. She was like oh but I can watch her (the older one through the fence) and the lady said about what if she falls over etc. :dohh: some people amaze me!! Then we had a bit of a weaning debate...:dohh:

Made madam toast with tomato puree spread on and grated cheese then under the grill for lunch. Went down a treat!

I think e actual original recipie I had was 1/2 a chorizio, but we were always left with half in the fridge which would never be eaten so that's why we just use a whole one!

Honestly, some people... Clearly having a fag is more important than your kids.... I smoke a few a day and only when they are both asleep... Plus I would never do it somewhere surrounded by other children!
T likes cheese on toast, but will only eat it if I cut it into small squares...... Weird....

Mmm toast pizza. I should start making those pizza rolls but I need a bit of a sit down first, just vacuumed and mopped :)

Wow some mothers eh....

That sound like a yummy quick lunch, il pinch that one from you for Rory!

Some mums amaze me!

Yummy, pizza toast and pizza rolls! :)
Swimming was a hit, she kept pushing me away wanting to do it herself tho, silly thing doesn't realise she can't swim! ;)
She's now 20lbs and 3oz! :happydance: which means she can go forward facing if needs be. We need a car seat for mil's car and I can't afford two ERF! Shes still in her infant seat- it's a recaro young profi plus, which is a 0+ so it'll do til she's 13kg but it's getting too heavy for mil to keep lifting in and out.
The hv was so delighted with her and I got lots of freebies! :) safety catches etc.
She's napping so I better get on with my beauty treatments for the weekend. :(

Michelle, it was amazing, thank you, def a new favourite!

I R making a stew but I just filled up on nachos and salsa :dohh: Think I'll save the stew and take it with me tomorrow to feed me and poker guy.

Enjoy your poker night nats!

I'm in two minds weather to do a spinathon next Saturday..... The gym is holding a 12hr spinathon 8am-8pm!!! You don't have to commit yourself for the whole lot but just some of it if you wish. If I do it though, id want do at least 6hrs because I've done a 4hr one before. Just text in-laws to.see if they are free cus dh has cricket on Saturdays. God, id love commit myself to the full 12hrs!!!!.....

Have you thought about getting yourself committed fabby? ;) ya madwoman! :) go for t girl. :)

I'm getting packed, can't wait, yet dreading it too! :haha:

Did you watch 24hrs in A&E the other day? A girl came over from Ireland for a girly spa weekend and they did a spinning class and she passed out at the end and she ended up having to have a 3 hour op to get toxins out of thigh muscles from exercise. It was stopping her kidneys from working and she had to have physio to help her walk again! Was proper scarey and weird!!

An hour spinning is enough for me! My ass hurts after just that!! I guess a spinathon would be different to a class though, no hills or jumps or sprints etc? Just flat road cycling?

Meh, I'm revising for my last exam. Rubbish!!

Had a hospital app today, which I thought would confirm my IBS diagnosis...it didn't. He doesn't think it's IBS. Got to have an MRI next weekend to look for Crohns disease. Not looking forward to that! It's at 2:45, have to get there an hour early and I can't eat or drink for 8 hours before! I'll be hank marvin by then!!

Enjoy poker night nats! Fill us in on any canoodling! :winkwink:
