The losers club

Well done T for the standing!! And poor T for the bloods :-( Won't be long till you'll be able to bribe her and she'll understand a bit but know she'll get a treat after.

Put in our top offer for the house yesterday, seller didn't get back till today and said she wanted 195k (we offered 190k) And OH said no, there's too much that needs doing. Then about an hour and half later the estate agent called to say she'll accept 190k!! Obviously she was testing to get more money, fair play to her, but it didn't work! Wooooooo!

Personally I wouldn't get a new build round here. They are extortionate for the price.

It is so small inside down stairs, although the bedrooms are ok. But the gardens are miniscule!

It is good that you get the warranty on things as sometimes things are a bit shoddy in new build (guess it depends how much of a rush the builder was in!!) We had to have all the windows replaced in the flat as they were all scratched! And the taps in the ensuite were on the wrong way round, cold was hot etc and the paint washes off the wall, which I found out the hard way!! But they were good at coming to fix things! And I do like the idea of a blank canvas which you can live with easily until you are ready to decorate.

But prices down here are high anyway.

What do you mean about the 70k Michelle? You paid 70k more or have made 70k?

Chicken and chorizo jambalaya tonight! Yummy!

 congratulations on the house blondey!! :) send the house dust my way! Going back for a second veiwing.
Hope T was ok today Michelle. :hugs:

Sorry Blondey I meant the house on the link I posted was £210k, but living in aberdeenshire we paid £70k more for the same house!
That's fab news you have your house! How exciting!
Bloods were awful, firstly she only had an hour nap before we went so had to pack her into the car all grumpy... As soon as we went into the room for her height and weight I had her on my knee and she was actually shaking
She saw the nurse, Jackie, who always does her checks and she started sobbing.. Had to strip her and get her weighed and measured while sobbing her heart out. She calmed down in the waiting room afterwards but as soon as she saw the doctor (same one every time) she started shaking again. Malc had to physically restrain her against him really tight while they took blood via the back of her hand. She was screaming :( and after that the blood was really dripping from the back of her hand so Jackie had to hold it really tight til it stopped. After some quavers tho she was fine. Then she fought getting strapped into the car seat, took 2 of us to get her in... But she is fine now, was in bed asleep by 6:30. It's just so horrible, I feel terrible restraining her like we have to but there is no other way. Her blood has to be tested, if she maintains wrong levels of certain hormones then it will cause her problems. I certainly don't want her having any learning difficulties all because we couldn't cope with having her blood drawn.

Got H weighed too, his is 4oz heavier! He is 21,2 and T is 20,14!
She is 25% for both and he is 91st! Little chunk!

:hugs: oh Michelle. I'm so sorry. But you are doing the only thing you can. :hugs:

Lol at wee H packing on the pounds! :haha:

He stared at Malc eating a sandwich earlier, I swear if I gave him it, he would've eaten it!

:hugs: michelle, it must be horrible. I used to cry when it was vaccine time and blood taking must be so much worse! But like you say it's for the best and it shows what a good mummy you are that you care so much!

Hehe at H!! AM's 26lbs and she's near the 91st line and I don't think she looks that big!

:hugs: Michelle, must be so hard :(

Woooo for her accepting the offer Blondey!!!

Bedtime for me, so tired after such a long day but gonna be nice sleeping tonight with Timo to snuggle with :) Hopefully Maria won't wake up too often....

:( Poor T (and you) I hope she recovered ok. It must be awful, it's bad enough just doing their jags :hugs: Go hungry H! He's gonna be a strapping lad :) Got Holly weighed today, she's 26lbs - has only put on 3lb in 6 months, must be all that gymnastics lol.

Congrats Blondey! Hope everything goes smoothly and completion doesn't take too long.

A pretty good night's sleep from Maria :D and now she's stealing my tea again :(

I woke up in the middle of the night and realised the monitor wasn't on! Oooops! Hope madam didn't cry before I realised!!

Just back from swimming. Can't believe what a water baby I have now!! And she always watches and tries to copy the bigger kids, so cute!!

We have roll on arm bands which are sometimes a bit of a bugger to put on. MIL suggested baby oil. BIGGEST. MISTAKE. EVER. nightmare!! I could only get them just over her hands and it looked like she was wearing boxing gloves! We were too slippery to to hold on to eachother to get them on. Stressful!! Did eventually get them on! I had to really grab her arms though to do it. Hope she doesn't get bruises!!

Saph, AM's only put on about 5 or 6lbs since Feb so sounds pretty normal. AM's slimmed down a lot but there are still hints of her chubby cheeks and rolls on her arms and legs!

Jennys only a dinky 20lbs 6oz. She was 18lbs odd at Christmas! And still a size 2 in shoes... Her cruisers are too big for her, but she walks everywhere now.

Fabby, you ok? Just saw the pic of Rory in hospital!? :hugs:

AM is adorable, thanks for the advice on not using the baby oil! Tho Jen throws a fit at the sight of any flotation aids! :dohh:

Oh no, whats wrong with Rory?!

I think Maria is around 24lbs

Aww Fabby, hope he is ok :hugs:
Had a right eventful morning, firstly I was putting rubbish out, came back in and there was a wasp inside my shirt! I could feel it crawling over my chest and I actually ripped it off! I'm not scared of wasps but it was just too close for comfort!
Then, it was Hs 6 month check so we got to the doctors and as soon as we went into see the HV Tabitha started shaking and crying poor thing... She was in her pram, I hadn't even taken her out. I calmed her down, gave her a bag of organix crisps and she was fine. Then I went to lie Hayden on the mat and get him stripped and she started off again in absolute hysterics. Luckily Malc was picking us up but we then had to wrestle her into her car seat again :( so the HV is coming to do his assessment at the house on Monday now. Hopefully she won't freak out then. I wonder if she thought H was going to get a needle like she did? Poor poppet :(

Awww bless T, she must have been trying to be protective of H.

Timo wants to take me to a spa hotel for the night for our date but damn AF ruins that idea :growlmad:

Aw, poor T!

I hope Rory's ok :hugs:

Boo for AF, it always turns up at inconvenient times :growlmad:

Aww, cutie AM! I've never taken Holls swimming, I haven't been myself for years, and DH won't take her til she's old enough to understand his instructions :dohh:

Just took Holly to the most expensive and snooty shoe shop in Aberdeen, where she rewarded me with a snotty, hysterical, laying on the floor and screaming tantrum :haha: I was quite pleased, as it gave me an excuse not to buy any ridiculously priced shoes - they mark up start-rite by £5, and some of the other pairs were almost £60! She was reunited with her little boyfriend today, they're so cute together :)

Awww Holly with a little boyfriend!

We took Maria to the assault course at the army base tonight. She thought it was hilarious to watch us try and do the obstacles :haha:
We took her to the supermarket too and she threw a lot of tantrums :dohh:

Hahaha what shoe shop were you in? Lol at Holly, she clearly just did it to save you money :)
Sounds fun Nats!
I hope Emmy is ok, she doesn't sound very well on FB :hugs:
I just won an ipad 2, won it on the mummy lucky dips site that I won my Cath Kidson bag on. Since we have an iPad I'll sell it but can totally use that cash at the moment :)

It was shooligans, it's right snotty in there. You're so lucky! I don't think I've won anything in my entire life

Nice one Maria :haha:

Lucky you Michelle!

Going to visit Timo's hometown this weekend as he needs his tools to change one of the lights in the van. Might meet his dad eek! Just waiting now for Maria to wake up from her nap so I can call her grandad to come pick her up (so I don't have to see my ex at all :haha:)
