The losers club

Lol Nats :dohh:

Doo has a few words, newest is 'poo' and 'bum', we asked her yesterday if she could say dog and she said no... fair enough!

Yay for new words! Maria has a few more now too, think I'll try and count them up today. Although the latest one is "cock" :dohh: she's been walking around the flat all morning saying "cock cock cock kack cock cock"

 at the choice of new words!
Jen doesn't talk either really. But her understanding is excellent.

Hahaha cock cock cock!
T has barely any words, hi, bye and dad and nothing else but she understands everything! I'm starting to get worried tho, 18 months and some this age have loads if words... And of course I think am I worrying over nothing or has her condition made her a bit slower in learning things... Not that I care, but I'd rather just know!
Little sod refused t nap this morning so I'm keeping her up til at least 12! The i'll try get them both up together :)

And Hayden ate toast, picked it right up and nommed it! I swear I could've BLW him at 1 month!!

Clever H!

Maria had only 3 words at 18 months, she's just started talking in the last week or so really. I was a bit worried too at the time.

I think understanding is far more indicative of whether they are on track to be honest. What good is loads of words if they don't understand much. AM's understanding is really good too, sometimes I'm shocked at what she understands!! And I am shocked she's got quite a bank of words going on. I wouldn't be worried though about the loser babies who don't say much yet. I know AM's word count randomly increases in the space of a couple of days so I'm sure they're just holding out for a massive word explosion!

Whats for tea losers? We have chicken thighs marinated in paul newman hickory bbq sauce, jacket potato and corn on the cob (which madam usually devours, not a single kernel left on it usually!!)

Well done H on his toast eating skills! At 6 months madam wasn't swallowing food! Granted we did start at 6 months so I can't blame her really!!

Well done H! God, time has flown, I can't believe he's 6months!
thanks blondey, you are right. I guess I'm just jealous as everyone else's wee ones can say mummy... I'd love her to call me mummy or mama or something!

We are having turkey curry with nan and rice. Not very exciting! But I've just had a super hard day at work and I'm knackered. :(

Scampi, new potatoes and peas, proper tinned processed peas, none of the garden variety crap!
T had ravioli (from a can, bad mummy!) and ate it all with her little fork
Lettuce, T constantly shouts dad! Her first ever word was mum but I've not heard it ages!

I'm having left over roast pork from last night.

Going to Timo's dad's tomorrow as I didn't get to meet him when we went there before. Apparently his dad wants to have a grill party cos I'm coming to visit. Hope its not going to be raining like it is right now - just took the bins out and got soaked!

Lettuce, once Jen learns to say mummy you'll wish she hadn't!! AM clings round my legs sometimes just whinging 'mummy, mummy, mummy, mummy, mummy, mummy' in a really annoying voice when I;m cooking dinner or something! I keep telling her I've changed my name :haha: She is proper cute now, calling herself 'me' all the time!!

Lettuce I guess you mean curry with naan and that you're not having a side of your nan

Got lemon tart in the fridge with cream and raspberries. Good job I did that 5.5km run earlier!! Which reminds me, need to buy some new running trainers, mine have given me a blister in the arch of my foot, ouchie!!

That sounds yum Blondey

I want to eat now but my ex will be here any minute to pick up Maria's nappies. Soooooo hungry!

Rory's got 27 words in his vocab, not all as clear as they should be but we know what he means.
We've had lasagne and salad for tea tonight. I made the lasagne and I never cook but it was really nice, was chuffed with myself!
Me and dh went out for a steak on Saturday night for our wedding anniversary and it was bloody gorgeous. It was a proper steak house so obviously it should be good steaks. I had rib eye and it was to die for!
I had a sudden urge to go out up town last night so me and my mate went out. All arranged at 530pm lol. It was shite though, full of chavs and kids. We had a laugh though at other peoples expense and some of the sights well, let's just say I was ashamed to be in the same room as them! So not my cup of tea going out up town anymore. Give me a night in any day!

Oh and Rory is getting so good at his wooden puzzles. He can complete one of them all by himself now too. His understanding is amazing too. I love how much he understands things, it makes toddler hood a whole lot easier I think if they have a good understanding.

I should get Maria some puzzles, but I'm not sure she has the attention span to complete them :haha:

It makes me laugh going out in town, haven't done it in a while now, maybe I should have a night out again soon.
