HAPPY 11 WEEKS LEY!!

Morning all! Soooo with you all on the TFIF - totally need a break from work, it's got to the point where I have been dreaming about filling in the stupid data sheets grrrrr! Also, I have this issue that I was hoping a few of you who work in officey settings would be able to help me with. Sitting on an office chair all day is doing my back in! It was really sore at the bottom when I got home last night, so I got Dan to have a look, and apparently the whole tail bone area is badly bruised Does anyone else get this, or have any suggestions how I can make it less painful? It was sooo sore last night that I had to sit sideways on one bum cheek to watch supernatural! xx

i used to have a rubbish office chair and had a bad back a lot. I made my boss by me a £300 chair that fits to the shape of your back lol. its great Is there not much padding in the bottom of the seat - maybe you could take a little pillow with you to sit on? also make sure you chair is inthe right position - you legs must be at right angles to the ground with you feet flat and yourback straight.

yeah you really need to get them to do a DSE/Workstation assesment for you. back straight, knees at a right angle etc... as you're temp they wont buy you a muliti million dollar fancy chair like LH, but take a foam pillow with you and make sure you're getting support.
Speak to the evil boss lady too... its her responsibility to address it once yuo;ve made her aware!

well the 3oo quid chair is out of the question as I'm only temping, but I'll try the positioning today & if that doesn't help, get hold of a cushion over the weekend. Ta LH xx

we've got a leather style chair so its not to bad. but the the first day i went to sit on it the chair slipped off my bum and i nearly went straight onto my bum lol i always hold the chair before i sit on it now.
I dont know whats wrong with me, normally im not one for cleaning but the last 2 days i have. i have just spent 2hours going through calebs room and tidying up, yesterday was the kitchen xx

It shouldn't matter that you're a temp hun...When I was temping here there was a lady on my team (she was also a temp) and she had a bad coxix (however the hell its spelt) and they got her a brand new chair that had a hole cut towards the back of the seat so that her tailbone wasn't pressing on the seat all day long?

Maybe they could get you one of those? x

Ah so it could be an issue with my coxix itself then?? I always wondered if that's what it could be, as always get it in lectures and exams too hmmmm. Might have to pop to the docs and check it out. I just hope it's not like that dudes in Shallow Hal aaaargh!!! tata ladies xxx

look at this message I just got from sofa woman and tell me she's not been conning me out of my money!!!


hi i have just had a call from courier there was a cock up with booking they said that i booked for next saturday but i sent them conf email sayin it is this sat i booked for but they can do it next sat n they can refund the delivery price if they do next saturday so it up to you what u want me to do if they refund me the delivery price i will send it back to you with the sofas n bunk beds if u can wait til next sat to have them delivered

thats not the point. the way she's been acting I'm not even sure the stuff will materialise next saturday. It's obvious she just spent the delivery money as she was trying to con me out of an extra £40 the other day too.

I gave her £240 of my money last weekend and I still don't have my stuff.

I've asked her to refund me the delivery cost today and cancel delivery and I will arrange it myself.

No but I have asked her for it.

I had made arrangements for my sofas and the girls beds to be picked up tomorrow, someone is actually buying Abigails bed off me so now they are going to have to wait another week.

I'm just pissed off, just the way she was acting I knew something like this was going to happen.

i would not be impressed!!!

I would look for a local man with van. Im sure there are plently about - or ask friends of friends with work vans etc and see if they will do it!! and defo defo get the money back for the delivery.

You can hire a van but i think it would cost more than the delivery to be honest.

Bobs mum is going to ask a friend of hers for us this afternoon. We have called a couple of man with a van blokes and the cheapest quote we have is £90. I can't afford that until I get the refund from her.

I had a look through the same site that she contacted me on (basically an items for sale in our local area group) and very soon after the £200 would have entered her bank account last weekend she was on there posting about wanting to buy new phones and this that and the other.
Then the other day she was trying to con another £40 out of me until I got the bank involved and then the money miraculously appeared in her account.
So I really believe she just spent all the money and now can't afford to get them delivered until next weekend.

your probably right ley! I hope you can find sumone to collect them for you and then you dont have to deal with her again!
