what a bitch - although i guess you were half expecting it wernt you!! i cant believe there are people out there like that. I would never and could never take over £200 off someone!!! its stealing!!!! Going to the police if defo the best option right now and see what they can do for you.

I called the police, they took the details and said someone will come round later today.
Now I've had a message from her swearing that I will get my money back today and she's really sorry etc etc..
 
Did you tell her you were contacting the police? how are you going to get it back today?!?!? I think she should drop it round to be honest so that you have it there in your hands. Do you thinkshe is really going to give it you back today or fobbing you off again?

she needs to pay it back in the same way you paid her - instant bank transfer! if she doesnt sort it out today - grrrrrr
 
well I'm currently at my mums printing out every single message ever sent to each other. I don't think I will get the money so I'm still going to talk to the police and show them all of these messages.
 
well I posted something in the for sale groups about people staying away from her and I've had lots of replies from people saying she does this sort of thing all the time.
I've asked anyone with any info to message me the details as it will all help with the police

Tell me about it. a really nice woman is going to put me in contact with some friends of hers who have had a similar problem and we can work together to get her stopped.
her latest excuse by the way is that her daughter is in hospital today (sound familiar??)

It might sound heartless but I don't believe anything that comes from her mouth anymore.

Well thanks to the admin of the for sale group I now have an address for her!

no contact from the police yet though and the newest thing from tracey is that she will pay me by 9pm tonight.
I'll believe that when I see it!
I'm tempted to drive to her house myself and demand the money lol
 
i would go round there i really would. or send bob. Id say i have kindly been give your address and i am on my way round to collect the money NOW!

it's about an hours drive away and to be honest I reckon she wouldn't answer her door...

Also you can never be too careful in this day and age can you. Her oh might pull a weapon out on Bob or something.
