OK so the update is, the police officer had all the details he needed about her. We just basically told him the story again.

The long and short of it is that he is contacting her today to inform her that the police are now involved and that if we have not received the money by close of business Friday she will be arrested on suspicion of fraud and taken in for questioning.
I'm hoping this will scare her into paying.

well he called back to say he managed to get hold of her and she promised the money would be in tonight.
He told her she had until friday evening or it would be being taken further and she asked what that meant so he told her she would probably be being arrested and questioned for fraud and apparently she didn't like the sound of that.

so now it's just more waiting....
