The Most Worthless/Funniest/Silliest gift you got?

Well around 30 of us in work done a secret santa, no less than £5 no more than £10 and we met in a local pub last night to exchange gifts and have a wee drink and I got thee funniest most random present of the night....


A GOLDFISH!!

In a small tank with with stones and some food too

My BF gave me a log....

It was hollowed out so it was meant to be a box for my tarot cards, but they don't fit unfortunately... Will defo be making use out of it though, looks really cool!

I did open it up though...and it was a damp, sticky log....

He'd even put a note in there saying "It's not just a log...honest" and another one "It's a box for your tarot cards!"

He's so sweet!

lol u will end up putting them away til she is older and forgetting bout them She wil be 6 when u find them. Thats usually what I do XX

I'm gonna be awful and ruin this thread, but goldfish should be kept in at least a 20 gallon tank ... not a bowl. Also, please read up on how to look after it (cycling a tank, water changes, suitable filters etc) if you're not already a fishkeeper.

That said, I didn't get anything overly weird. I got a bright blue pepper grinder, which works perfectly but seriously ... bright blue? Not sure if I'll ever use that in the kitchen, not on display anyway. I actually got my dad the exact same grinder for Christmas, but choose a pretty silver, I wanna swap =(

Most useless, a wind up torch. Obviously meant for my DH but given to me to even out the presents

talking of fish.. i remember they used to sell them at the fair.. I won quite a few on hook a duck. Looking back, no wonder its banned. How cruel. Needless to say the fish didnt last very long poor things

its not banned.
i won one at the town moor in june and then again on fireworks night (the poor fish) at the rugby club.
I put them in a nice big tank and there okay,but it is a horrible thing to do. I saw one lass who was out with her mates that night who had one one, about 14 and off her face drunk. I hope that fish was ok

I won a fish at a fair (well actually, was probably my dad that won it) and he lived for many many years. Moved house with us and everything.

callum got 2 pairs of pyjamas aged 2-3yrs!!! he's just turned 1 ffs!! so maybe NEXT xmas they will fit him!!!!
