the MTV programe 16 and pregnant !!

hey ladies,
has anyone else watched this series abot girls wo get pregnant 1st time when they are 16 or underage. I vowed I would not watch it to my DH but could not resist. I have found myself feeling so jealous of them they are so lucky but all they do is moan if only they could be in our shoes trying so desperately for a baby. the same thing it seems that all of of the local people unemployed and smoking etc are with children and pregnant people tell me there is a god but if so why wont he let us have a child I help people everyday at work. will be starting IVF soon and am feeling low cause the % of success is low i am 29 but what if nothing works and we never have children pkease help x x i need frinds / advice

I think it is so unfair that these stupid girls can get pregnant and I cant!

It feels like they dont deserve it at all, and just take it for granted! ARRGGGG

I've seen some episodes -- It pisses me off so much!! Stupid kids. And their adorable babies.
Why on earth can these children have babies & not me?! Totally unfair, life.

I am addicted to this programme! I remember myself at that age did everything to prevent pregnancy and now i would give anything for a little baba. These girls are proud of not been careful but i just can not help myself i even sky + it so i dont miss it!

I have watched it and yh it does my head in as well but there is also a girl on there who got pregnant and gave her baby girl up for adoption to a couple in a simiar position to lots of couples like us who are trying and can't seem to catch on. So look on the brightside, sometimes there stupidity can benefit those less fortunate.

I have seen a few where they have decided to give there child up! its heartbreaking to watch but a very good selfless thing to do.

Don't watch it! i watched 5 mins of it once and i was so annoyed i turned over.

As regards who "deserves" a child though, life is not like that. Many of us get things we don't deserve and just have to cope and hope one day we get our babies.
If we start down the route of "deserving" things, we are always going to be looking at others and making ourselves feel worse, when in reality, what other people do in their lives has no baring on ours at all sadly xxx

I have sky+ this programme too my dh is not impressed I torture myself with it either! I had a pregnancy scare when I was 16 and everything changed so I do feel a bit sorry for them at that age as they don't know how to handle it. Don't get me wrong some teenagers are absolute arses and know they should have been using protection!

Of course I am really envious of them and their babies, a lot of them seem so embarrassed about their bodies in school, such a shame as if we were pregnant now we'd love to show it off. I do know someone who got pregnant at 17 and is now ttc for a long time in their late twenties so has seen both sides.

I love it but find myself feeling quite sorry for them actually. I do though think life is so unfair and feel bitter towards friends getting preg on their first month trying! I guess we have to keep going but the fear of having no children feels more real each day x

I watch it every week. Even now that they are on Teen Mom. I understand it's difficult for some to see....but they are also 16 yrs old, so the way they react at 16 probably isn't how they would react later on. None of them chose abortion and Catelynn selflessly gave her baby up for adoption. A few of the girls are spoiled and act like teenagers (exactly what they are) but I think that Maci is a great Mom.
