I keep coming back to this name, I think I quite like it, it's a shorter version of one of my favourite names - Lilliana (which I think is too much of a mouthful for me). But does it look like it's 'unfinished' when written down or said aloud iykwim?? Also I wouldn't be keen for it to be shortened to Lily. I also really like Lilah/Lyla - similar I know. Which do u prefer?

Oh and just to add our surname is Lee, is too 'L' heavy with these L names?

My other top girls names are:

Rose
Ava
Phoebe

Lillia to me always looks like it's not quite finished ... Liliana is beautiful and lilah is my absolute favourite however with your surname I think lilah lee is just too much but Lilliana lee sounds lovely you could always call her Lilliana and shorten it too Lillia...

P.s we have very similar taste in names xx

I really like Lillia. Lillia Lee sounds pretty cool. I also like Lila/Lilah, but I prefer the Lila spelling. Out of your other top names, I really like Phoebe, but I'm not sure it works with your last name.

I think your last name makes most of those names tricky....

Lyla Lee
Phoebe Lee
Rose Lee
Lillia Lee

Unfortunately, I don't think any of them go with the surname.

Ava Lee & Lilliana Lee work best, in my honest opinion.

Ps. I love the names Lyla, Lillia, Lilliana, & Ava!!

I know, my surname is very annoying sometimes 😠, A lot of the names I've loved I can never use as they end the same way as my surname: Rosalie, Everley, Molly, Holly, Millie etc, and Ella xx

I'm not so worried about Phoebe rhyming as I have an Evie. I can honestly say it's never really been an issue for me. Xx

One I forgot to mention, that I still really love but dh isn't so on board with is Theodora, nn Teddie. Thoughts on this with surname?? Xx

I like Lillia but I think you might end up correcting people a lot - I think she'll get called Lillian. Not a big deal, just a thought. I do like Lilliana but it is quite grand sounding if that's an issue for you. Also how much do you hate the nickname Lily? because once they get to school age you can't really control how they shorten it and Lily does seem an obvious one.

Don't think Lyla works with your surname, sounds a bit of a mouthful.

I like Theodora (again, quite grand, but I like that) though I'm not overly keen on Teddie.

That's exactly it, they do sound a bit grand and maybe a bit pretentious, which isn't really me tbh.

Anyone have any ideas for girls names that go with our surname besides Ava?

Siblings are:

Shani, Sofia, Franklin, Sonny, Evie and Madeleine (Maddie)

I think L names might be too much with your surname, honestly. And names that end with -ee might not be the best choice either imo, but I see you like those types of names, so here are some suggestions I think sound nicely with your surname and other kids' names:
Eliana (ellie-ahna) - similar to your L names but would flow much nicer
Eleanor
Harper
Jordyn
Sabrina
Willow

Thanks, I like Eliana, bit like Lilliana but not so long and Eleanor - I could use nn Nora as Ruby rainbows suggested :)

Thanks for all of your ideas, opinions and suggestions ladies :flower:

As a result I have a new modified list of names, that I think work much better with our surname :winkwink: (Clearly I have too much time on my hands today)

Ava (still on the list, however the popularity bothers me a bit, although none of my friends have Ava's, just a couple of aquaintances)
Norah (possibly using a full name of Honor with Nora/Norah as a nn)
Cora
Constance/Connie

Middle names are Iris, Joy or Quinn

What do you reckon?

Ava Joy Lee
Honor Quinn Lee
Norah Joy Lee
Cora Iris Lee
Constance Quinn Lee
