I prefer Lily... or Liliana. But i'm not personally fond of the trend of traditional, formal, old fashioned names.

I do think Caitlyn & Lillian go well together, tho.

that was our first name choice for a girl... lillian grace :)

I really like it and I think maybe people would shorten it to Lil rather than Lilly?

We get lots of comments on Violets name and when I was pregnant we got a few "old persons name" comments but now she's here and they've met her, the name suits her so well.

It's different without being 'out there' and although it's most popular among old people now, when she's old, she won't have "an old womans name" because that will change to the names that are popular now iygwim??

I was thinking about Lilia Neve, which sounds like Lilian Eve, wasn't sure though.

yes Toria it is but some people spell it Neve to make it easier. I like Niamh and Neve. I love both spellings

My MIL is a Lillian. I think it's a beautiful name. I will probably name a daughter after her (middle name) if I am ever blessed with one. I love the name Niamh too, but my husband isn't very fond of it.

I know someone who just had a little girl whom she named Lillian Sky. I think it's unique and very pretty!

I suppose I can't comment on Neve being spelt wrong when I put a "y" in Caitlin
