The old wives tale for gender prediction "which side baby implanted on" rant..

Iv had 2 scans now and forgot to ask both of them... Doh!
When she did them she was always over the left hand side... Looking around, all I know Is that I ovulated from my right ovary... The corpus leuteum was still there.
How do you find out? (My gynaecological ability is about as good as my written Japanese... I.e none existent) lol
I can't even seem to get pictures on here lol
H xx

Did you have an abdominal or transvaginal ultrasound bigbelly2? I can probably tell you which side your bub implanted on if I know what kind of ultrasound you had. Also I need to know which side your bub was on in the picture.

I don't know, it's still really difficult for me to tell where the placenta is, there are several spots that look like they could be the placenta. Usually it's easier to tell where the placenta is by following which way baby is facing and where the cord seems to be leading but you bub is too young in the picture, it just looks like a straight pole. I think I can see the cord but I'm not sure. If I had to make a best guess it looks like the cord and placenta are leading to the right.

Lol I wish I knew what you were seeing! Thanks for trying though!!:)
Hoping we get another scan next time! if not oh well!!

It's really hard to see but if you click on the picture and look to the right of your bub you can see a very translucent, backwards C shaped line (which I'm assuming is the umbilical cord) leading downwards towards a small, equally translucent looking spot on the the bottom wall of your uterus (which I'm assuming is the placenta).

I saw that too Kalonkiki but when I zoomed in closer, it looks almost like a transparent circle to me, so I thought maybe it was the yolk sac?

It was trans.... Baby seems to be on the left and I THINK placenta possibly left but my scans are really early.... I can't seem to get a pic on here either lol I'm rubbish....
I will see if I can manage to get a pic on with the laptop as I'm always on my phone... Unless ur on fb and I can send it u?

Fingers crossed, h xx

If it was a transvaginal then baby is on the right side of your uterus. Transvaginal shows proper positioning and abdominal is a mirror image.

So would you say blue or pink?

:blue:, Ramzi's theory was correct for my son btw. I also had a transvaginal with him for my 8 weeks ultrasound and his placenta was on the right side of my uterus. This baby is implanted on the left (I had an abdominal ultrasound this time). :D

i could tell because my 3 boys implanted higher in my uterus than my girls not sure what side though my girls i needed a wee all the time my boys i didn't
also craving sweet for my girls savory for my boys
hair was better for all my boys
x

I know I may be intruding on this post but I was wondering if any guesses on my ultrasound...it was abdomen not vaginal!
