From what I understand it's perfectly normal for there to be nothing in the sac for up too 6.5 weeks. I wouldn't freak out yet. Give it time.

i have some personal experience with this but sadly mine ended in heartbreak we had an ectopic and removal of tube 2 years ago then 12 weeks later we got pregnant again only to find out when i went for my 12 week scan that there was only a sac measuring at 5 weeks it was a blighted ovum they called it little blip didnt make it and absorbed back into my body why i never miscarried is betond me but fingers crossed your bloods double .. am now 1dpo today not tracking or using opks just my little app on my phone bought some cheapies today so hopefully my 2ww isnt long xxx

No clue! Haven't been tracking. I just feel awful so I wanna know if it's baby or sickness!!

Just left the docs office my hcg level Wednesday was 9000 and you should see a heartbeat if your hcg level is 1500 or more so not good news. Go back Monday to see if it doubled and another ultrasound to see what's going on.

Mommasboys they say that but that's not true. I went when I was at like 9000 and only like 5w1d and there was no hb just yolk sac. Heartbeats develop with age not hcg! They told me that too that they may see it.. So I was upset when I didn't see it but we went two weeks later and the bean is beautiful with a bpm of 159!! It just doesn't make sense to see a heartbeat at like 5w

I was 5 weeks and 6 days when I went in for my scan. I also had a lady Ask me if I have a tilted uterus which I do it tilts towards the back. She said it made her little bean harder to see so I did some googling and sure enough hundreds of stories about women with a tilted uterus showing an empty sac until 7+ weeks just because they couldn't get the right angle to see the baby. So I am thinking about calling the doctor and pushing my Mondays scan to maybe Friday so that way I will be almost 8 weeks by then. It can't hurt anything as I'm not bleeding, cramping or hurting and my hcg level for yesterday will be back Monday so we will at least know if it is doubling or not. Just so very confused at this point.
