The one and only...POAS party thread!! Don't enter if you can't handle strobe lights!

I usually get a second surge around 2 days before AF leading to a super dark OPK. :) and I always have two lines on my OPK.

How ya feeling mwel?!

Wonderful at this moment. Give it a little bit and I will have a headache but it is all worth it! :) I'm getting somewhat of a little bump. I'm about 12 1/2 weeks right now. I go back to the doctor next Tuesday.

I have a wedding to attend in Texas in June and I will about 16 weeks and I can't find a dress that covers the bump. Thinking about renting this one. What do you think? https://www.renttherunway.com/shop/designers/badgleymischka_dresses/rubyredgalagown

How have you been Twink??

Oh I love that dress! and I'm guessing you will look absolutely fab in it! Definitely get it!

ASM-ehhh, it's been such a roller coaster month for me, up and down for all sorts of reasons and trying to decide what to do, but I've finally committed, we will be trying, just hoping I'm not too late to the game. Hoping I can steal some of Squiq's good luck from the doc saying to wait a cycle. But I guess if we miss this one, at least I'll have an appointment to get in and see if something is wrong in there. I still really want that February baby! (okay, so I really wanted the sept, oct, nov, dec, jan ones too, but really REALLY want this one!)

Thanks! I hope so! I'm going to rent a couple just in case. lol!

I'm sorry Twink, I'm sending lots of dust your way! I really wanted a February or September baby too! But God showed me what I needed I suppose. LOL! Now I will have a holiday baby! :) It took me relaxing. (I still charted but I was much more relaxed whiile BD'ing.) I hope that if you do go to the doctor that they can give you some answers you are looking for and that if something is wrong, it is an easy fix!

:dust::dust::dust::dust:

I've always had 2 lines on any OPK I've peed on but granted I use 3-5 sticks per cycle as I can usually guess my O within a day or two.

mwel - gorgeous dress! I want it :D

Checking in girls! <3
Had my IUI this morning, so having Han exciting day! Still want to get one more bd in with DH tonight, but I think we covered good ground!

So would I be at 1dpo? I triggered Saturday night. The Dr. Said test in 2 weeks and I laughed so hard inside. Like, yea right! I'll start testing out trigger in a few days.

If you had the IUI today then I would guess tomorrow or the day after would be 1 DPO. But I think ladies who get IUIs count by dpIUI. So tomorrow you will be 1 dpI :happydance:. So exciting!

I echo what Confuzion said! I counted the day after my IUI as 1dpo or, 1dpI. With that being said, I technically got a BFP on 8dpo, or 10 days post trigger. It was ridiculously faint and hardly noticeable but I was testing out my trigger and there was a huge difference in 8dpt (post trigger) and 9dpt so when I got almost the same intensity in line on 10dpt as 9dpt I kind of figured I was pregnant, but didn't know for sure until 10dpo. Good luck Raye! I'm super excited for you!

Thanks ladies! I love having such great support!

Also, DH is working today (obviously) and won't be home until 6 (3 hours from now)
Should we even bother trying to get one more in or do you think it's too late?
I kind of think it's too late. With trigger Saturday night, I'm sure I ovulated.

Just don't want to do unnecessary BD'ing lol the clomid made me so uncomfortable!

What would you ladies do?

I would throw one more in anyway. It could help. And if it's too late you still get to have some fun :winkwink:. But I wouldn't put pressure on it. If you're not in the mood, then it's definitely not necessary!

I agree, get some Preseed, lube it up and give it one more shot! Very exciting! I understand why you wouldn't if it hurts though. Bd needs to stay enjoyable.

Rayeanne - We BD on the night of trigger, about 8 hours after the IUI and the day after. If your hubby's wash was good, I'd say you should be fine without the BDing (especially if you're uncomfortable) since there are already a lot of 'soldier's' up there fighting for that egg!

omg, omg, omg, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Squig :wohoo: I have been off almost all weekend, and I can't hardly believe my eyes this morning!! Congratulations hon! I was thinking the same thing the Confuzion said ;) I am deliriously happy for you. Praying for a super sticky and a H&H 9 months.
Just curious, what is the clexane for? Hope the appointment goes well :)

Thank you :) the appointment was grand, I am now trained in how to stick a needle into myself for the next 8 months! The Clexane is a blood thinner. I'll put the rest of the explanation in a spoiler in case people aren't interested and want to skip it!
Apparently there is a syndrome called Hughes or Antiphospholipid syndrome where your blood starts clotting in pregnancy from the moment of conception (it's supposed to get stickier as you get close to giving birth to prevent the mother losing too much blood, but in this scenario, it happens too early). It doesn't cause a problem for the mother, but it does for the baby as microscopic blood clots can block the tiny veins. A symptom of it is recurrent early miscarriages, and your blood tests may come back clear. So you get started on low dose aspirin straight away, so that there's a thinner in your blood from conception, before you know about it. But as time goes on, the aspirin isn't enough on its own, so you start injecting Clexane from BFP and take it til just before the birth. I have to say, it does hurt a bit... But it will be worth it for my rainbow!

Super congrats on those pretty lines! How are you feeling? I will bd cd13 Friday so I think I should at least be able to see a faint line.

Feeling fine, actually. Boobs sore, and not sleeping great though very tired in the afternoon (however that could well be normal!). Starting to get a bit hungrier. I wouldn't mind just a few slightly stronger symptoms! (Be careful what you wish for, I know!)

Mwel - love the dress!

Twinkie - FX for a surprise for you then this cycle :)

RayeAnne - FX! Hope this IUI works for you! :dust:

Thanks for all the good wishes on my pregnancy!

Everything crossed for you, Raye!!!! And clomid made me uncomfortable as well, dry dry dry!

Well, BD and had horrible cramping after I... anyhow, I think AF should come soon!

Hope she does show up for once, so you can move on from this headache of a cycle!!

Squig - really interesting info about the clexane!!
