I have really irregular cycles and I started charting, which first cycle I was hopeless, but this cycle I am determined to see when I am O'ing, so I purchased 30 opks I hope this is my month
I hope it is all our months I can't wait to have my own baby OH and I are so excited to become parents, he would like a little girl first and I would like a little boy, but we would be happy with either

Hi Haylee welcome to BnB, Im new here too. Im the same me any my OH started NTNP but actively trying for 3 yrs now. My cycles are irregular and have trouble keeping track but is doable!! i think i used about 15 OPKs in my first month to make sure i did not miss it. I have tried to BBT but i keep forgetting to do it before i get out of bed think i will as a NY Resolution though as something else to keep track of. But you'll the hang of it! Fingers crossed for you and hope this is all our months!

This will be my first time using OPK's, too. I hope I know what I'm doing. I was told to start using them right when my cycle ends instead of when the directions tell you to begin. I'm going to try that as soon as my cycle ends. February was the first month that I stopped taking birth control. We were NTNP and now we've decided to officially try. Hopefully the OPK's is exactly what we need to give us the BFP. Baby Dust your way!

Welcome! I am new here too and looking for a buddy! I just recently came off of the pill (was only on it for 2.5 months) so my cycles are a little weird at the moment. DH and I are TTC #1, we would both love a little girl but either would be wonderful
We were NTNP for almost a year, and we got a at then end of June, only to mc in August @ 11 weeks, it was a blighted ovum.
We're ready to rock again though and want to get this show on the road! I bought 50 preg tests and 20 ovulation tests and a weird little cup to pee in. Let the games begin!


Just got AF today, my first real cycle since coming off the pill last month, it was only 23 days so I hope it goes back to normal soon, I am usually very regular with my UCL 25 days.

Hi Haylee, I'm Lauren. I have been ttc with my DH since end of July. Still no luck so far and have been trying not to put too much pressure on ourselves but it's hard not too.My cycles were very regular(last day of every month)until last cycle which came 5 days late. I actually had so many symptoms similar to preganancy that I thought it was our month but unfortunatley not. I have started using OPK from this month and didnt think it would end up being the highlight of my day. Still not had positive yet but hopefully that will come in next few days. Have told my DH that we will be bding everyday. He works long hours so you can imagine his response. Hopefully not to have to track it too much longer. I would be happy to buddy up with you it's good to have someone else who understands it all x

Roma Tomato- I am so sorry for your loss and I hope your cycles come back to normal soon I am here if you ever need to chat WOW 50 hpt and 20 opk - let the peeing begin I seen some weird little cups to pee in on ebay... I might just have to try them, I got a packet from the chemist and they just look like a shot glass lol a bit difficult if you know what I mean My AF has just come to an end and just after New years Matt won't know what hit him lol I am determined for a Janurary putting my babies due date around september / october. Its a perfect time of year Merry Christmas to you too lovely xx

laurs- Hi Laura, there's nothing worse than when the plays tricks like that on you. I hope this time round it's a for you instead, I hope that's the case for all of us girls. I've heard that it is best to test twice a day with opk, and not with fmu. from 11 am to 8pm I have heard are the best times. I hope you get your positive opk soon. xxx

I'm using internet cheapie ones...think they're called onestep or something like that? I may have made that up. Anyway, I got them on ebay. I tested with one again last night (POAS addict in the making) and got an almost positive one, and my temp dropped this morning, so I'm hoping today is my day!! to all of you ladies!

I got an almost positive last night and my temp dropped this morning, so I will be checking the OPK later this afternoon to see if it's positive. I thought I O'd a week ago, according to FF, but i've been having a lot of EWCM and cramping, and have not had a positive OPK. Just because I am POAS addict, I did a HPT this morning, which of course came back negative.

I done a hpt on my period the other day hahah I have POAS issues. FX'd today is the day for you too, FF predicted last cycle that I O'd on CD 12and I knew that was wrong, but my temping wasn't exactly acurate I am being alot better this cycle. How long have you been charting?

Haylee, This is only my first month charting, so I am still getting used to it. My OPK this morning/afternoon was the same as yesterdays, dark but not quite positive. I looked at the HPT again when doing the OPK and it looked positive, but I have a feeling it was a evap. Check it out and let me know what you guys think. We have only been TTC since last month, so I would be shocked if it was a for sure positive.

Seaweed- Congrats on the first positive! Always nice to see that you're O'ing! My OPK was the same as yesterday. I'll post a pic of yesterdays and today's.

Yea, I have been charting. My temps have been high over the last couple of days compared to earlier in the month, but Saturday and Sunday I didn't temp because i was out of town on business.

Ooh, to me the last one actually looks even closer to positive!!

I'm no expert, but based on your chart I would be surprised if you had ovulated earlier in the month. Maybe the high temps were just noise. Enjoy that EWCM today!

Got my positive OPK! YAY The top test was late morning/early afternoon and the bottom test was about an hour ago.
