Awww congrats to your fella, I too will be looking into Kalms chewing gum. I'm going down every single possible avenue. People are laughing at me saying I'm being ridiculous, well I wonder how they'd feel, failing time after time and feeling like crap over it.
I'm not taking anything illegal, so I wish people would quit making me feel stupid over wanting to pass my test and have my independence.

Thanks and its not stupid! They shouldn't even try bring you down (which is what they are doing) because lessons and tests are stressful especially when you have failed already! Just don't tell anyone this time round, alan told me and thats it whereas the first time he told everyone and the second time he told close family and friends (who then told everyone) haha. He said knowing that no one would no if he failed again eased the pressure a bit And the kalms gum he had one during the lesson then 2 right before his test which he just chewed on when he got nervous I wil be taking them! x

ALSO He said once you pass you seriosly don't care that it took 3 times to do it! And he also said he knew he had passed as he left the centre and when he went back in he was thought that went well And the examiner was like "well.............congratulations bla blah" so he shat himself when he said well because thats what he started of with when he failed first time round xx

Yeah, I won't be telling many people this time round when I get my test booked. It's too much when loads of people know. They all tell me I'll pass, then when I don't, I feel ashamed, embarrassed and a whole culmination of other things.

I think I'll keep my test talk strictly here.

So, it'll be a case of I just announce it out of the blue that I've passed.

Lula that is what I am doing, pretty much. People know it is sometime in November but not when and hopefully I will get a cancelation before then too so they wont have any idea.

hi there, im new here. i had my 1st driving test on 16th and failed my own fault, i went in the left lane goin right at a roundabout, so stupid! was so nervous, my hands were shakin so much i could barely get key in ignition! lol roundabout incident was 5 minutes in and i knew id failed on that, which made me drive terribly for the rest of the test even shopped myself how bad i was! lol rebooked for 17th october, but really wana get this over and done with and luckily found a cancellation for tues 4th only thing is its at 8.10 am, rush hour :/ my theory is, il b stuck in traffic most of the time, more time to think and less time driving......i did say was just a theory tho good luck all having tests this coming week

thanks lulabug, just b so much easier gettin kids to school. i shud av done it yrs ago wen i was in me teens but to b honest i never had the urge or need to drive, be great in holidays too wen kids get bored, just get in car and take them sumwhere to wear them out lol

Eeeek, missy. Not long at all.

I had a driving lesson yesterday and am so happy cos I have most of the manoeuvres cracked now, parrallel parking is fine, turn in the road is perfect, reversing round a sharp corner is good and so I just need to perfect them all and work on reversing around a swooping corner now.

I have a lesson in 2 hours and i don't know why but i get really anxious before all my lessons I hate it mainly because when i start my lesson all my neighbours sit in the garden opposite me and watch as i move off and i seriously hate it

To be honest, this might sound crazy, but I'd maybe treat your neighbours like they're examiners and try to relax because if you can relax around them, you might find that you'll be absolutely fine with the real deal. Just an idea? xx

I have done that, .... well kind off like i made myself nervous over it so that ide have an idea of what ide be like on the day before my first attempt but im gonna keep doing it coz if i drive and im nervous a lot i will be used to it ifswim? i think it could help too Thanks for the advice xx

just came on to let u know......i passed!!!! 2nd time lucky for me, thought id failed wen i buggered up me emergency stop, but she let me do it again and luckily 2nd one was perfect so she passed me hasnt sunk in yet, keep thinkin il wake up any minute lol so so happy, nothins gonn a ruin my day 2day. good luck all u ladys with upcoming tests, and even if u think u failed, keep tryin coz u never know xx
