Awww, I'm still so chuffed that you passed! You so deserved it.

Ethans dad has been going to his mates for a few days to help him out with some DIY and if I could drive, I could have had the car and done more stuff. Instead, I'm stuck at home and it's pants. Oh so boring and when the weather is undecisive, you just wish you had a car to jump into and go.

Hopefully I'll be able to celebrate next week.

It's time's like this I wish I had a crystal ball, so that I could see into the future and know what my result will be so I can steel myself for it lol!

Still, even if I fail, I know you ladies will be here to console me, but I'd love to be able to type and send the words "I passed"

I promise you it will happen. I never thought it would be me, I though I was gonna be one of those 10 test people you'll get there, confidence is the key!

Hey ladies, was here a few pages or so ago saying I'd failed my driving test, well I re-took it end of June and passed 3 minors and it was the 8:20 test time so quite busy. Enjoying driving now and relaxing till baby no.2 arrives!
It was the best feeling, I cried when the examiner said I'd passed, I've been driving on and off and taken some tests since I was 17, I'm now 24 so you can imagine the relief now! Don't give up, you only fail when you give up!!! Keep going!

I have my test very very soon and im so scared I keep having bad lessons and making silly mistakes and then worrying about that mistake and making more. How can I keep my cool? Im terrified!! I just keep thinking Im definitely going to fail ive been working so hard on this and I want to pass.

How can I keep calm?? I dont want to take any of that rescue remedy or anything though :/ xx

Congratulations Pess!! That's fantastic news.

Sophie, what is your instructor like? Do you feel like your instructor explains to you properly? Sometimes, it can be that the instructor isn't so much, not good enough, but doesn't explain things or hasn't got the knack at putting you at ease.
Maybe try another instructor?

My test is in less than a week. I want to pass so much! I know I keep saying it but it's only because it's true lol!

LulaBug you ARE going to PASS hun have faith and confidence and belief in yourself that you will. I was like you the week before my test, I felt like a broken record I kept saying "I really wanna pass this test". I'm quite excited for you doing your test!

Good luck for your test tomorrow Amie-Leigh, show that examiner what you're made off .......11:30 is a very good time to do a test! I did a lesson before my cancelled test at 11:20 and the roads were perfect!

luckily by fluke,I didn't pay the company the last lot of money so at least they dont owe me! He has started up on his own now, I had to move my test though and lose my money but he has given me the money back out of his own pocket (and so he should lol bless him) I just didn't need all this stress x

i failed my theory test by one mark i got 42/50 on the multiple choice and the pass mark is 43
i have re-booked for the 12th aug but i am a bit upset because its even longer until i can book my driving test now

thanks, i passed the hazard perception with 54 out of 70 i think it is (my bit of paper is in the bedroom )
i am gutted it was by one mark
but at least i know what to expect now x

Sorry to hear your bad news Amie, you'll ace it next time. And don't worry, once you've passed your theory, you can book your practical test straight away and check for cancellations for a closer date. xxx

My lesson was good today, had a 2 hour one and drove down to Herne Bay where I'll be taking my test and I was doing ok. My speed is a lot better, so much so, that now sometimes I'm going a bit too fast, so I'm having to constantly check the speedo because even a small bit of pressure on the gas makes me go faster by a few mph.

I'm trying to get out of the habit of leaving my foot on the clutch when turning corners, cos my clutch is still half down when I'm turning and it needs to be all the way up.

Umm...I'm giving way to other cars a lot more now and as long as I leave enough time, I'm doing fine.

I'm less hesitant too.

Ohhh my god, 5 more days to go and hopefully I won't have to worry about this ever again.

Sounds like you're making good progress my foot is always halfway up the clutch on corners too.

I find the hardest speed to maintain is 20, I always go over and I feel self conscious that i'm holding cars up behind me because lets face it, everyone wants to get some gas on!

my instructor has booked "holidays" for the end of august but said he isn't going away just not doing lessons but if i can get a test for then that he will let me use the car so fingers crossed i pass my theory on the 12th or before and manage to get a quick test slot

im so excited that is getting near to me being test ready
